<p>Seeking Insurance Verification Specialist/Scheduler to provide great service to our wonderful patients. In this role, you will be essential in verifying patient insurances, checking out patients after their appointments, and scheduling them for future treatment. You will also be creating treatment plans and sending prior authorizations to insurances. This is an established three-dentist office that thrives in providing quality dentistry and patient care in a fun, family-like environment.</p><p>3-day work week --approximately 30-36 hours/week</p><p>Dental benefits and pay increase provided after 90 trial period. All candidates must provide a resume and brief cover letter describing your interest in this position, and be willing to submit to a background check. Dentist Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns and dentures</li>
<li>Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions</li>
<li>Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs</li>
<li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care</li>
<li>Collaborate with dental assistants and other dental specialists to provide comprehensive care</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Denticon</li>
<li>Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety</li>
<li>Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Dentist Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school</li>
<li>Valid state dental license</li>
<li>Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures</li>
<li>Familiarity with medical records management and documentation</li>
<li>Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment</li>
<li>Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental anatomy, and oral health conditions</li>
<li>Ability to interpret and analyze medical imaging, such as X-rays</li>
</ul>
