The City Lead plays a vital role in delivering this mission locally by ensuring high-quality rental operations, seamless service coordination, and a consistent, customer-centric experience. As the on-site leader, the City Lead drives operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer journey within their city, acting as the bridge between global standards and local execution. 


The Role

The City Lead has full responsibility for the daily operations and performance of a city depot. While remaining strongly hands-on (60&ndash;70%), this role carries clear managerial and financial ownership.

Leads the local team, manages depot costs, ensures efficient fleet turnaround, and drives continuous operational improvement. This role is accountable not only for execution, but for results. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you are responsible for delivering a high-performing, cost-efficient, and customer-focused operation every day. 


Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Own the end-to-end performance of the city depot across Rental and Servicing;</li>
<li>Lead, supervise, and develop the local operational team, including shift and task planning and performance feedback;</li>
<li>Be a culture setter and a leader by example;</li>
<li>Track daily KPIs and ensure the SOPs are being executed;</li>
<li>Monitor and improve vehicle unavailability, including stepping up to do repairs when needed;</li>
<li>Own depot cost performance, including consumables, rework prevention while managing disciplined cost control practices;</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointments;</li></ul> 


Practical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Able to lift or move light-to-moderate items (10&ndash;15 kg) and able to stand, walk, and move across the depot for long periods;</li>
<li>Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions;</li>
<li>Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods, supporting urgent operational needs;</li>
<li>3 - 5 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing environments;</li>
<li>Strong hands-on operational capability, with the ability to step into daily depot workflows;</li>
<li>Ability to multitask, prioritise, and handle physical tasks during high-volume periods;</li>
<li>Flexibility to work extended shifts during peak seasons, ensuring operational continuity;</li>
<li>Driving License (Category B) required;</li>
<li>English proficiency (mandatory) and Norwegian (nice to have);</li></ul>

 Proactively manage manpower planning to ensure maximum productivity being achieved with the resources available in the depot.

 Supervise/ leading commissioning/ decommissioning of equipment, whilst ensuring all Aggreko standards &amp; SOPs are followed by conducting regular equipment &amp; site installation inspections at client sites.

 Driving preset global operational directives &amp; minimising service expenditure in line with the depot&rsquo;s target &amp; set KPIs, ensuring all service-related documentation is completed in line with Aggreko procedures and process maps

 Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development, and training of direct reports &amp; technical support to the clients and internal teams where applicable.

 Identify common repeat failures on equipment to prevent reoccurrence using available data &amp; resources reach out to Service Manger where appropriate.

 You&rsquo;ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

 Must have experience previously in rental business &amp; at supervisory level.

 Higher Education qualification in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent qualifications with extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical field or both.

 Comfortable in facing client with the ability to communicate effectively when required, empathize &amp; understand the perspective of others.

 Fluent command of English language, spoken and written with effective communication.

Operations Manager - Omani National

The Home Depot

<div>Position Purpose:
Store Co-Managers are responsible for working in tandem with the Store Manager to ensure the successful day to day operation of Home Depot stores. They share responsibility for maximizing store sales and profitability while working ethically and modeling Home Depot's core values. They accomplish this goal by developing strategies and objectives and leading a team of Associates in executing these strategies and objectives. They must ensure that the store is optimally stocked and merchandised and that all Customers are provided with excellent customer service.
