Position Overview
 The ideal candidate is a confident design expert who can independently assess branding needs, provide strategic recommendations, and carry those concepts through to polished, production-ready outputs.
 
Key Responsibilities
 Serve as the primary graphic design advisor to the Front Office, providing expert guidance on branding, visual identity, and design standards
 Evaluate existing communication materials and recommend improvements to ensure consistency, clarity, and visual impact
 Develop and implement cohesive branding strategies across presentations, reports, digital content, and internal/external communications
 Translate complex ideas and messaging into compelling visual designs that align with organizational goals
 Create high-quality graphics, layouts, and visual assets for both digital and print formats
 Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables and communication channels
 Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to understand messaging objectives and deliver tailored design solutions

 Required Skills
 
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
 Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in a fast-paced or client-facing environment
 Proven ability to independently develop and implement branding and design strategies
 Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
 Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, layout design, and visual storytelling
 Experience working directly with senior stakeholders or leadership teams
 Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce polished, professional deliverables

Purpose:
The Design Consultant at Floor &amp; Decor is the entry point into design and is responsible for engaging customers on the sales floor to support their design projects, conduct design appointments with customers to determine design needs in the selection of tile, wood, stone, and accessory products of various colors textures, patterns, and design. The Design Consultant will also partner with store leaders to maximize sales goals and expand the design services brand.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements<ul><li>
1+ years of retail/customer service experience</li><li>
High school diploma and or GED</li><li>
Proficient in basic mathematical skills</li><li>
Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li><li>

Greet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needs</li><li>

Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.</li><li>
Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions</li><li>
Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up including consistent and concise communication to customers and others. Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required</li><li>
Collaborate, partner and communicate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation, and achieve sales and other goals</li><li>
