This is your Opportunity to:

<li>Working with customers and sales consultants to create beautiful rooms and spaces while recommending furniture and accessories to give customers a completed, designed look.</li>
<li>Offering in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations to better understand your customers&rsquo; needs, style, investment, and space(s).</li>
<li>Creating floor plans and photo-realistic 3D renderings of Havertys Furniture and accessories placed in the customer&rsquo;s home.</li>
<li>Assisting Sales Consultants in closing transactions by providing your design knowledge to Havertys customers.</li>
<li>Assisting Sales Consultants scheduling or attending a qualified home visit.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the customer during the home visit and the final presentation to review the items selected, pricing, and delivery schedules, if applicable.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to Sales Consultant and Branch Manager after each house visit and upon completion of the floorplan and the presentation board.</li>
<li>Assist Sales Consultant with the creation of special-order skus and increase sales reserves.</li>
<li>Provide constructive feedback to customers to help build sales and increase average tickets.</li>
<li>Have knowledge of special sales, financing plans, delivery procedures, warranties, etc.</li>
<li>Reinforce customer selections and help bring sales to closure.</li>
<li>May use My Sales Center to access and follow-up with customers.</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of broad range of furniture styles and products.</li>
<li>Maintain consistent sales levels and other key metrics as required by management.</li>
<li>Participate in sales training directly on the sales floor to understand the Havertys customer engagement process.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in interior design or related field; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ASID certification preferred.</li>

What is the opportunity?
The Design Studio Consultant position is responsible for guiding the buyer through the selection of Included Features and Available Personal Choices (options/upgrades), thoroughly and on-time, while adhering to company policies and procedures and representing the company by keeping in line with the builder&rsquo;s code of ethics, values, and mission statement. This position will Interact with other departments as needed (i.e. Purchasing, Marketing, Accounting, Conveyancing, Construction, Customer Care, etc.) and will be tasked with completing required paperwork accurately and timely. Proficiency with department specific technology is necessary. 
What are the primary responsibilities?<ul><li>
Assist Prospective Buyers/Home Buyers with Tours/Options Selections
