As an intern, you will assist in creating new collections, improving existing designs, and contributing to the overall design process. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work closely with experienced designers in a dynamic and creative environment.Roles and Responsibility<ul><li>Work with the production team to ensure designs are practical and can be made using current manufacturing processes.</li><li>Help come up with new furniture design ideas and work with senior designers to refine and improve them. This includes making rough sketches.</li><li>Use design software (like CAD) to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of furniture designs for prototyping.</li><li>Help build and test prototypes to check if the design works well and is comfortable, then provide feedback for improvements.</li><li>Research and choose the right materials, fabrics, and finishes for furniture, making sure they meet design and quality standards.</li><li>Keep track of the latest trends in furniture design, materials, and technology to keep designs fresh and up-to-date.</li><li>Assist in preparing design presentations, including visuals, prototypes, and documentation to clearly communicate ideas to clients.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.</li><li>Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, SolidWorks, etc.).</li><li>Creative, with the ability to think outside the box and contribute to innovative design concepts.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, especially when preparing technical drawings.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Interest in learning about materials, production processes, and design trends.</li><li>Good multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and tasks.</li><li>Previous experience or internships in design or furniture-related fields are a plus, but not required.</li></ul>Job Type: Internship Contract length: 6 monthsPay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
