<div><p>Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to the impacts of climate change. It faces multiple climate-related challenges, including both sudden-onset events (such as floods and droughts) and slow-onset impacts (such as increased heat, variable rainfall, heavy precipitation). Pakistan's economy is largely dependent on agriculture, which is also significantly impacted by climate change, including because of its effects on crop failure and declining productivity. The impact of climate change on livelihoods and human security often makes it a significant trigger for rural-to-urban migration, while the sudden impact of disasters such as flooding has been known to cause large-scale internal displacement.<br>
</p><p></p><p>The Government of Pakistan (GoP) acknowledges the importance of strengthening adaptation to climate change impacts and recognizes the need to include human mobility concerns into climate change planning. As part of an earlier IOM Development Fund (IOM DF) initiative, IOM supported the GoP in including human mobility considerations in its National Adaptation Plan (NAP). However, knowledge and funding gaps as well as the lack of a comprehensive communications strategy on NAP and climate-related human mobility remain persistent challenges in implementing the NAP. The lack of capacity and by extension, lack of innovative solutions, make it difficult to secure funding for programmes that address human mobility in climate adaptation plans. Government agencies at both federal and provincial levels lack the technical expertise and resources to integrate human mobility considerations into existing climate change policies and procedures. Traditionally, climate change adaptation and migration management have been handled by separate entities. Bridging the gap between these departments and fostering inter-ministerial collaboration is crucial for a unified approach. Furthermore, to generate more public interest and knowledge in this portfolio, communication and advocacy around human mobility must be strengthened - a component that is explicitly mentioned in the NAP.<br>
</p><p></p><p>The project leverages the achievements of previous engagements by IOM Pakistan on the subject and seeks to contribute to the implementation of Pakistan's NAP by enhancing the GoP's advocacy and communication tools and promoting innovative climate adaptation solutions via a whole-of-society approach. The project seeks to build on ongoing engagements related to the NAP and a strong relationship with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC&amp;EC) to expand adaptation planning while including human mobility concerns.<br>

<p>Strategic Partnerships and Funding Consultant (Remote | Commission-Based)</p><p>Applied Behavior Analysts PLLC is seeking an experienced, highly independent contractor to help secure funded partnerships for our remote caregiver coaching and behavioral support services across multiple U.S. states.</p><p>This is not an entry-level role and is not a traditional salaried position.</p><p>We are specifically looking for someone who already understands how to navigate organizations such as school districts, nonprofits, youth/community programs, attendance/truancy initiatives, workforce-development systems, or other publicly funded/community-based organizations.</p><p>About Us</p><p>We provide remote caregiver coaching and behavioral support services to families using licensed Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Our services focus on practical outcomes for families and children, including:</p><ul><li>Homework completion</li><li>Parent follow-through and consistency</li><li>Listening and cooperation at home</li><li>School attendance and truancy reduction</li><li>Daily routines and independence</li><li>Teen employment readiness</li><li>Caregiver coaching and family functioning</li></ul><p>We are currently expanding beyond our existing funding model and are looking to build strategic partnerships with organizations interested in supporting families through evidence-based behavioral services.</p><p>Potential partnership and funding opportunities may include:</p><ul><li>Public school districts</li><li>Attendance and truancy initiatives</li><li>Community schools programs</li><li>Nonprofits serving children and families</li><li>Youth mentoring and workforce-development programs</li><li>Family-support organizations</li><li>Juvenile justice diversion programs</li><li>Community-based grant-funded initiatives</li><li>Local government and public-sector programs</li><li>Organizations already receiving federal, state, nonprofit, or community grant funding related to youth, families, attendance, education, or behavioral support services</li></ul><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Identify partnership and funding opportunities</li><li>Research organizations and programs aligned with our services</li><li>Conduct outreach to school districts, nonprofits, and organizations</li><li>Build relationships with decision-makers</li><li>Schedule and attend virtual meetings</li><li>Identify RFPs, grants, and funding opportunities</li><li>Help position our services for external funding support</li><li>Collaborate directly with the owner regarding growth strategy</li></ul><p>This Role Is Probably NOT a Fit If</p><ul><li>You require constant supervision or daily direction</li><li>You are looking for guaranteed hourly pay</li><li>You are uncomfortable initiating outreach independently</li><li>You have no experience with partnerships, outreach, contracts, or funding development</li><li>You expect pre-built leads or scripts</li><li>You are looking for an administrative assistant role</li></ul><p>Preferred Backgrounds</p><p>Strong preference will be given to applicants with backgrounds in:</p><ul><li>Education partnerships</li><li>Nonprofit development</li><li>Business development</li><li>School district partnerships</li><li>Behavioral health outreach</li><li>Workforce development</li><li>Community engagement</li><li>Grant-funded programming</li><li>Public-sector partnerships</li></ul><p>Compensation</p><p>This is a commission/success-fee-based 1099 contractor role.</p><p>There is no hourly compensation.</p><p>Compensation is tied directly to funded partnerships or signed contracts secured through your efforts.</p><p>Compensation varies depending on contract size and scope.</p><p>There is no cap on earnings.</p><p>Important Notes</p><p>We are intentionally looking for quality over quantity.</p><p>Applicants with direct experience in partnerships, funding development, public-sector outreach, school systems, nonprofit development, or contract acquisition are strongly preferred.</p><p>To Apply</p><p>Please submit:</p><ul><li>Your resume</li><li>A short explanation of your relevant experience</li><li>Specific examples of partnerships, contracts, funding relationships, or business-development work you have personally helped secure</li><li>Why a commission/success-fee structure appeals to you</li></ul><p>Generic applications without relevant experience will not be considered.</p><p>Pay: $25,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>Have you personally worked with or secured partnerships, contracts, referrals, sponsorships, funding relationships, or service agreements with any of the following types of organizations?</li><li>Public school districts</li><li>Nonprofits</li><li>Government-funded programs</li><li>Workforce-development programs</li><li>Community-based organizations</li><li>Grant-funded initiatives</li><li>Juvenile justice or truancy-related programs</li><li>Youth or family-support organizations</li></ul><p>If yes, please provide specific examples including:</p><ul><li>The name and type of organization(s) involved</li><li>Your exact role in developing or securing the relationship</li><li>Whether the opportunity resulted in a signed contract, funded partnership, referral relationship, sponsorship, grant involvement, or other measurable outcome</li></ul><p>Work Location: Remote</p>
