<div><div>Main accountabilities &amp; expectations
</div><div><p>. Monitor day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities, and ensure that business processes and workflows are executed correctly and efficiently. As well as ensure that job tasks are distributed between team members fairly and professionally. 2. Lead the development and execution of the Accounts Receivable section&rsquo;s processes and procedures, and ensure that they are in alignment with best practices and UOS&rsquo;s requirements. 3. Monitor and evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures in Banner system, and makes recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions. 4. Review and set tuition and housing fees on a semester basis in accordance with the approved regulations and review/follows up due bills. 5. Coordinate with the departments that have direct link with revenue and accounts receivable in order to monitor their financial transactions and invoices. As well as coordinate with the bank regarding Educational Finance in order to request information required for monitoring and reporting. 6. Monitor and control the validity and accuracy of financial transactions (e.g. cash receipts, disbursements, refunds, student bills, etc.) in order to ensure revenue and cash flow is correctly managed. 7. Collect, review, verify and update debt from sponsors, especially governmental sections and performs the necessary account transactions and adjustments according to the agreed regulations and recommendations. Reviews the statement of account before liaising with the sponsors and performs adjustments if required. 8. Support the director in the development of the Finance department&rsquo;s KPIs by providing professional input and advice on developing and achieving the relevant KPIs. As well as report on the section&rsquo;s progress, and prepare the necessary action plans to the director. In addition to ensuring that each team member has a good understanding of the section&rsquo;s KPIs and how their roles impacts their achievement. 9. Provide leadership to the section&rsquo;s team in order to build and develop their organizational capabilities, provide them with development opportunities, as well as report on their performance. 10. Lead Accounts Receivable related projects that help support and improve the department and the University in general, and supervise the project team ensuring each members completes their work tasks accurately and on time. As well as supervise all project phases from requirement gathering to implementation. 11. Participate in the preparation of the department&rsquo;s annual budget, in collaboration with the director and other heads, and track the section&rsquo;s expenditures and ensuring they are within the limits of the budget. 12. Prepare various reports, analysis and statistics related to the Accounts Receivable section when requested by the line manager. 13. Complete any other job-related tasks as assigned by line manager within the expected time limit.<br>

  This role is accountable for transforming Accounts Payable from a transactional function into a best-in-class, control-driven, analytics-enabled operation. The Director of Accounts Payable ensures that all vendor obligations are paid accurately and on time, AP balances are clean and auditable, payment risk is minimized, and AP processes scale with growth, acquisitions, and increasing transaction complexity.

   Enterprise AP Leadership &amp; Strategy
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>

   Own enterprise-wide AP strategy, operating model, and roadmap across all entities
  </li>
  <li>
   Standardize AP policies, procedures, approval matrices, and controls
  </li>
  <li>
   Design a scalable AP organization capable of supporting rapid growth and M&amp;A
  </li>
  <li>
   Serve as executive owner of AP performance, risk, and compliance
  </li>
 </ul>

   Transaction Execution &amp; Controls
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Oversee all invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment execution (ACH, wire, check, virtual card)
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure strong segregation of duties, payment controls, and fraud-prevention mechanisms
  </li>
  <li>
   Own AP clearing accounts, accrual accuracy, and balance-sheet integrity
  </li>
  <li>
   Partner with Accounting to support a disciplined, fast close process
  </li>
 </ul>

   Vendor Management &amp; Compliance
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Ensure accurate vendor setup, documentation, tax compliance (W-9s, 1099s), and contract alignment
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate with Procurement and Legal to ensure payments align with executed agreements and pricing terms
  </li>
  <li>
   Resolve escalated vendor disputes and payment issues
  </li>
 </ul>

   Working Capital &amp; Cash Discipline
  </strong>
 </p>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Partner with Treasury and FP&amp;A to optimize payment timing, cash forecasting, and working capital
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive discipline around payment terms, early-pay discounts, and disbursement prioritization
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide AP insights to support liquidity planning and cash burn management
  </li>
 </ul>

   Systems, Automation &amp; Process Improvement
  </strong>
 </p>

   Own AP system architecture and workflow design (ERP, OCR, invoice automation, approvals)
  </li>
  <li>
   Lead AP automation initiatives to reduce manual processing and error rates
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive continuous improvement using metrics, root-cause analysis, and lean processes
  </li>
 </ul>

   Reporting, Audit &amp; Governance

   Deliver executive-level AP reporting, KPIs, and aging analytics
  </li>
  <li>
   Serve as AP lead for audits, diligence requests, and internal control reviews

   Ensure AP compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit expectations
  </li>

  Requirements

 <ul>

   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
  </li>
  <li>
   12+ years of progressive AP, accounting, or finance operations experience
  </li>
  <li>
   5+ years in senior leadership managing large, multi-entity AP organizations
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience in healthcare, multi-location services, or PE-backed environments strongly preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated success scaling AP in high-growth or acquisitive organizations
  </li>
  <li>
   Deep expertise in AP operations, controls, and best practices
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of accounting principles and balance-sheet management
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools (NetSuite preferred)
  </li>
  <li>
   Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  </li>
  <li>
   High judgment, attention to detail, and risk awareness
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven ability to drive change, standardization, and operational discipline
