PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Business Office and the Business Office Staff.</li><li>
Perform, oversee and provide support for the daily functions of the Business Office including maintenance/use of the financial software, budgeting, banking activities, procurement, bill pay, payroll, benefits and student activities to ensure continuity of operations.</li><li>
Oversee/perform account and bank reconciliations for all expense and revenue, including monitoring daily banking activity and resolving discrepancies between bank statements, investment reports, and internal financial ledgers.</li><li>
Serve as a key lead on major financial system and banking initiatives, assisting in the performance of core Treasurer-related duties. Coordinate closely with external partners, including banking representatives, investment advisors, auditors, and software vendors, to ensure accurate account configuration.</li><li>
Function as a system administrator for the District electronic financial management system, including bank cash structure design, account mapping, balance rollovers, troubleshooting, and work directly with system support on structural changes.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of financial analyses, reports, and presentation materials for the Board of Education, and the Citizens Finance Advisory Committee (CFAC), including long-range projections, assumptions, and fiscal trend analysis.</li><li>
Supervise and monitor the accounting of cash receipts, including property tax distributions, state, and federal revenues, CPPRT, Medicaid, grants, interest earnings, and other revenue sources.</li><li>
Work with financial consultants in a capacity to monitor revenues and expenditures across all funds to support accurate cash flow analysis, funding of accounts to cover obligations, reconciling investment activity, verifying interest allocations, monitoring maturities, coordinating redemptions, and ensuring proper posting.</li><li>
Timely and regularly prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger, including entries related to bank transitions, investments, interest allocations, fund transfers, and one-time or complex transactions.</li><li>
Assist with the preparation and submission of required financial reports, state, and federal grant expenditure reporting, coordinating compliance reporting across ISBE, Cook County, State Comptroller and Auditors.</li><li>
Assist in the development of the annual budget, long-range financial projections, and other financial analyses.</li><li>
Prepare financial data, analyses, and reports, including the Treasurer's Report and Annual Financial Report, for Board of Education review and collective bargaining purposes, including wage and benefit cost modeling.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of the annual financial audit and support internal, efficiency, and compliance audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as needed.</li><li>
Act in a confidential capacity on sensitive financial and personnel-related matters.</li><li>
Maintains an official set of records accounting records of the District's financial transactions.</li><li>
Provide direct financial support and guidance to district departments and schools, responding to questions, resolving issues, and assisting with financial processes and procedures.</li><li>

Director of Group Services position plans, develops, coordinates and supervises the Day Treatment Intensive Program which meet the needs and interests of each client in the facility/program. Also participates in budget development and billing for the department/program and is responsible for its implementation and management. Organize and supervise the provision of community meetings, safety of groups, process groups and rehab activity groups to clients as needed and services including assessment, treatment planning and direct treatment services. Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, supervise and discipline group/activity therapists and aides. Organize staffing of the DTI Program to meet regulatory and policy and procedure requirements. Directly monitor the program by regularly working evening and weekend shifts. Monitor the quality of verbal reporting and written documentation of client involvement and progress in the program on a regular basis, to meet regulatory and policy and procedure requirements. Coordinate DTI and other group services with the overall treatment schedule with other departments in the facility. Coordinates community DTI contacts for outings and services to be brought into the facility. Reviews DTI Program participation hours monthly and recommends activity treatment action for clients, as necessary. Responsible for security and accuracy of all departmental petty cash monies.

This employee works with the Regional Library Director, Library Managers, and Board Members in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
