JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Education &amp; Content Strategy is responsible for developing the strategy and administering the content delivered for professional development and online resources. The Director is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating content and education strategies that align with ACA&rsquo;s strategic plan and membership needs. The Director will work in conjunction with leadership to design and implement innovative instructional design and delivery efforts. This is a hands-on role directly responsible for managing the development and administration of content for education programs for members and/or the public. This position has supervisory responsibilities.
In addition to the list of responsibilities below, the Director of Education &amp; Content Strategy will carry out assigned tasks that are consistent with the general responsibilities of the position.

Develop, evaluate, and improve the organization&rsquo;s content strategy(s).</li><li>

Work with staff and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop innovative, sophisticated, and robust educational solutions, design curricula, and identify SMEs to deliver program content that enhances and meets the learning objectives of participants. These offerings include but are not limited to annual conference programing, online resource-library offerings, webinars, workshops (in-person, asynchronous, virtual, and hybrid), and podcasts.</li><li>
Oversee and manage the development of learning modules and curating content for online learner communities; content may be custom, existing, or from other ACA or partner sources.</li><li>
Assist in the creation of post-program survey design to produce data on learner success and program objectives.</li><li>
Develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including members, staff, and corporate partners to cultivate and lead content development, strategy, and design.</li><li>
Evaluate, edit, and enforce editorial standards.</li><li>
Create efficient content creation processes through cross-team collaboration.</li><li>
Manage content creators and freelance writers.</li><li>
Lead efforts to optimize content according to the latest SEO best practices.</li><li>

Selkirk is at the forefront of a cultural shift in sports, and we are looking for a Content Strategy Director who can merge high-level creative vision with rigorous operational leadership.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to make content. This is for a strategist and executive producer who knows how to architect a multi-platform media engine, from streaming TV and podcasts to commercial campaigns and editorial storytelling.

You will lead a talented production team, oversee a seven-figure budget, and ensure every piece of content we produce is intentional, high-performing, and unmistakably Selkirk.

 The Ideal Candidate

 Is a subject matter expert across Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads), TikTok, X, LinkedIn and BlueSky, with a strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms, evolving features, and best practices for maximizing organic reach and driving community engagement.

 Actively monitors trending sounds, memes, challenges, and content formats, and is able to quickly ideate and execute social content that keeps brands relevant and at the forefront of social conversations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Has 2+ years of video editing experience in a digital publishing, production company, agency, or brand environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Is highly skilled and lightning fast-working in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and Figma. Experience with Jitter is a plus.

 Has experience working with Opus, Wochit, CapCut, and other browser- or app-based editing tools.
 </li>

 Possesses strong voiceover recording, scripting, and story-editing skills.
