GENERAL SUMMARY:
</b></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Development and Community Engagement, the Marketing &amp; Development Coordinator is responsible for various functions that support the agency&rsquo;s strategic goals for fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. This role provides administrative, project management, and technical support for various development activities, including donor solicitations and stewardship, database management, managing reports, and fundraising events.
</p><p>The Marketing and Development Coordinator also plays an integral role with marketing functions, including management of the agency&rsquo;s electronic resources, developing content, managing social media accounts, and aiding the development of outreach resources as requested by the program team.</p><p>
Finally, the Marketing and Development Coordinator will be flexible and take on additional responsibilities as needed.</p><p><b>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b></p><p>
Marketing and Communication (55%)</p><ul><li>
Manage and grow the organization&rsquo;s social media accounts by creating regular content, reacting to online trends, and engaging with other accounts.</li><li>
Draft and design monthly e-newsletter and other digital communications.</li><li>
Collaborate with program staff to gather impact stories, program updates, and other content to be used in appeals, annual reports, and e-newsletter.</li><li>
Support the development of Minuteman&rsquo;s annual marketing plan and coordinate its implementation.</li><li>
Aid in the creation and distribution of press releases to the media.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Director of Development &amp; Community Engagement develop and produce marketing and outreach materials including flyers, fact sheets, monthly agency e-newsletter, reports, ads, graphics, posters, etc.
</li><li>Post and update select content to the Minuteman website.</li></ul><p>
</p><p>Fundraising (45%)</p><ul><li>
Coordinate donor stewardship activities for all received and pledged donations.</li><li>
Serve as project lead or a key contributor for fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship events (like the annual Online Holiday Auction and Spring Forward 5k) including donor research/solicitation/tracking, familiarity with fundraising platform (Qgiv/Bloomerang), and reporting.</li><li>
Work with all members of the Development Team to identify opportunities to publicly recognize individual, corporate, and foundation supporters and sponsors as appropriate.</li><li>
Collaborate on the draft, design, and distribution of print and digital fundraising appeals (Constant Contact) with strategic guidance from the Director of Development &amp; Community Engagement.</li><li>
Maintain the donor/volunteer CRM database (DonorPerfect), ensuring accurate data entry, gift tracking, and report generation.</li><li>
Reconcile monthly fundraising activity with the fiscal team and provide regular reports on fundraising and marketing performance.</li></ul><p>

</div><div>Build and maintain a detailed segmentation model of the 1,800+ customer base by ERP platform, industry vertical, current product footprint, whitespace opportunity, contract lifecycle, and engagement health.
</div><div>Define target account tiers and build tailored marketing motions for each segment, from high-touch ABM for strategic accounts to scalable digital nurture for the long tail.
</div><div>Leverage AI-powered marketing tools to automate outreach, personalize content at scale, and surface actionable insights from customer engagement data.</div><div></div><div><br>
Campaign Development &amp; Execution

</div><div>Own the full event lifecycle from agenda development and speaker coordination to promotion, registration, onsite or virtual execution, and post-event follow-up that converts attendance into pipeline.
</div><div>Build a customer community strategy (user groups, advisory boards, online forums) that deepens relationships, surfaces expansion opportunities, and creates organic demand across the install base.

KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS
</b></div><div>Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategy, account-based marketing, and lifecycle marketing in a technology or professional services environment.
</div><div>Hands-on experience with AI-powered marketing tools, marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar), and CRM systems.
</div><div>Proven ability to plan and execute customer-facing events at scale, including user conferences, regional user groups, and webinar programs.

</div><div>Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth from an existing customer or install base. Must be able to point to specific programs built and the pipeline or revenue they produced.
</div><div>Experience planning and executing customer events, user conferences, or user group programs at scale.

The director of development drives philanthropic revenue for the School of Medicine Graduate Programs through major gift solicitations. The director will play a critical role in the engagement and solicitation of major gift donors in support of the School of Medicine. The director will be charged to spend 80 percent of the time to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward 100 to 125 prospects with the potential of giving in the range of $100,000 to $250,000.</p><p></p><p><br>
