</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in counseling, education, higher education, education administration, or other related field.
</li><li>Minimum 5 years experience working with low-income, first generation students.
</li><li>TRIO experience and understanding of adult learner theories are preferred.
</li><li>Education can be substituted for experience, but experience cannot substitute for education.
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What we're looking for:
</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite software, such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as Google applications such as Gmail, Chat and Hangout.
</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision, balance competing demands for time, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
</li><li>Effective analytical skills with the ability to assess situations, resolve issues or make recommendations as appropriate.
</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style and method to suit different audiences.
</li><li>Capable of building strong working relationships across teams, departments and Schools.
</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a professional demeanor with people at all levels within the organization.
