Provide support and supervision to the Clinical Manager(s) to promote effective performance and delivery of quality home care services</li><li>

POSITION SUMMARY<br>

Directs and oversees personnel actions including recruiting, new hire actions, interviewing and selection of new staff, staff reviews, and salary determinations for the patient financial services and management and staff in the Home Care and Pharmacy PFS.<br>

2. Establishes and oversees the development and implementation of processes and procedures to assure that billing and collections work meets the most current requirements of Medicare, all insurance company payers and each state&rsquo;s Medicaid plan. Establishes short and long-range goals, strategies and objectives for the work units. Develops and implement programs to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Pharmacy PFS functions and the Home Care Central Back Office.<br>

3. Maximizes cash flow through effective management of billing and collections work, developing effective relations with third party payers, preparing and executing strategic and financial plans, and ensuring that all goals are met. Negotiates settlements of disputed accounts and reimbursement denials.<br>

4. Maintains a cost-efficient operation. Plans and prepares an appropriate budget for assigned cost centers. Provides expense control and effective management in the allocation of resources.<br>

5. Collects and analyses data and performance statistics for assigned business units. Communicates business results, needs and recommendations to operating groups and to management. Works with operating managers and service providers to maximize results of patient accounting work.<br>

6. Through the planning and execution of effective customer service and business strategies and practices, maintains a low level of patient complaints and high level of patient satisfaction. Develops a well-trained staff that maintains a high level of quality, good business practices, and effective problem resolution.</p><p></p><p>
7. This position manages the payment posting and reconciliation of receivables of greater than $150M annually and manages an expense budget of $1.7M. Must have extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid in several States, and contractual arrangements with multiple payers. Responsible for leading assigned operational planning, consistent with company priorities, to identify and reach short and long term goals. Internal customers include but are not limited to employees, other directors and administrators at the local, regional, and corporate level. External customers include but are not limited to patients, physicians, insurance payers and vendors. This position manages Accounts Receivable functions for System Home Care functions for multiple States. This position also works with all Hospital facilities related to the charging process and needs to have a strong knowledge basis of charging procedures and Compliance requirements.</p><p><br>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<br>

Requires a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.<br>

A minimum of five years of healthcare financial management experience with at least two years in a hospital setting, along with experience in a broad range of billing and patient account audit practices.<br>

Requires strong negotiating, analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to be flexible with changing needs and deadlines; the ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of company personnel and outside professionals is a must. <ul>
<li>Assist with payroll for home care staff with a high level of accuracy and timeliness</li>
<li>Assist the Director with billing-related functions, including reinvoicing, reviewing discrepancies, and resolving issues</li>
<li>Monitor, review, and manage EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) reports, ensuring all visits are properly recorded</li>
<li>Support staff with EVV usage, including clocking in and out, troubleshooting issues, and providing training as needed</li>
<li>Proactively reach out to caregivers and staff to ensure compliance with EVV requirements</li>
<li>Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including but not limited to:</li>
<li><ul><li>Requests for tax documents (W-2s, etc.)</li>
<li>Login and system access assistance</li>
<li>Onboarding setup and support</li>
</ul></li><li>Maintain accurate payroll and employee records in compliance with company policies and regulations</li>
<li>Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and payroll processes</li>

<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>

<li>Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within the home care or healthcare industry</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with EVV systems and home care compliance requirements</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency in payroll software</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li>

SUMMARY:</b></p>
<p>
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through nursing processes of implementation and evaluation; under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes. Works in accordance with agency philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations, including HIPAA as applicable.</p>
<p><b>
What you will be doing:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Sets up medications for clients and monitors side effects, drug interactions, dosages, and implements changes per physician instructions. Informs client and family of changes immediately.</li>
<li>Listens, documents and reports significant changes in condition of clients, including incidents, unexplained injuries, medication errors, or evidence of client or family dissatisfaction to Clinical Director and/or RN Case Manager.</li>
<li>Provides direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.</li>
<li>Implements the appropriate aspects of the strategy of care and follows the plan of care initiated by the registered nurse.</li>
<li>Contributes to the patient assessment and provides patient and family/caregiver education regarding self-care techniques and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care</li>
<li>Participates in quality assessment and assurance activities including implementation of recommendations and monitoring of results.</li>
<li>Maintains ongoing communication with other disciplines to evaluate client responses to interventions, suggest alternative approaches when indicated and to revise and update plans of care to reflect progress toward goals.</li>
<li>Facilitates and supports inter-disciplines communication to meet clients&rsquo; needs.</li>
<li>Immediately informs the client, consults with the client&rsquo;s physician and notifies the designated family member and/or the client&rsquo;s legal representative when there is an accident involving an injury which as potential for requiring physician intervention, a significant change in the client&rsquo;s physical, mental, or psychosocial status, a need to alter treatment significantly.</li>
<li>Reports changes to Clinical Director and/or RN Case Manager.</li>
<li>Interacts with clients, family members, legal representatives, and resolves concerns.</li>
<li>Attempts to resolve all client grievances seeking consultation or assistance from Clinical Director and/or RN Case Manager.</li>
<li>Consistent application of infection control procedures and universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens, use of protective equipment, handling of hazardous materials, and any other OSHA mandate on workplace safety.</li>
<li>Serves as Certified Home Health Aide when coverage is needed.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation of care and services delivered during shift including subjective findings, objective symptoms, interventions, and client responses to interventions per agency policies and procedures and federal and state regulations.</li>
<li>Reports relevant information to the Clinical Director including interdisciplinary team functioning and communication, regulatory compliance issues, client risk factors, sudden changes in client behavior, expressed dissatisfaction by client or family, refusals of treatment, unexplained injuries, staff behavior (positive and negative), staffing needs, equipment and supply needs, opportunities to revise policies, procedures, and improve quality.</li>
<li>Comply with the agency&rsquo;s privacy practices and procedures related to client and employee records and all state/federal health privacy laws as outlined by HIPAA.</li>
<li>Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our clients, family members, customers and staff.</li>
<li>Complies with and adheres to the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the Bloodborne Pathogens Standards. Protective Personal Equipment (PPE), including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, extremities, protective clothing, and protective shield and barriers, will be provided, used, and maintained.</li>
<li>Demonstrates teamwork and prompt and regular attendance to work to ensure that quality care and services are provided to the clients we serve.</li></ul><br>

<li>Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana</li>
<li>Previous home health &amp;/or long-term care experience preferred</li>
