Overview:
Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking a Director of Market Development to serve as a strategic lead for regional growth initiatives. The Director is responsible for identifying and executing growth opportunities within the Northeast region through sophisticated strategic planning and clinical relationship management. 
As a key driver for the continued expansion of IRC, the Director focuses on increasing utilization across existing centers, promoting renal care services to health systems and physician practices, and supporting de novo development initiatives. This role requires a high degree of professional maturity and the ability to serve as a peer-level contact for nephrologists and healthcare executives, ensuring IRC remains the partner of choice in the renal care space. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Work closely with the executive leadership team to align regional market development initiatives with organizational goals and potential healthcare partnerships.</li><li>
Develop and maintain sophisticated, long-term professional relationships with both affiliated and non-affiliated nephrologists to recognize and facilitate growth opportunities.</li><li>
Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports, competitive demographic analyses, and Profit &amp; Loss (P&amp;L) forecasts to provide data-driven recommendations for expansion.</li><li>
Partner with case managers, social workers, and discharge planners at local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) to increase awareness of IRC clinical services and admission protocols.</li><li>
Participate in national and regional renal meetings (e.g., ASN, RPA, NKF) and hospital association meetings to develop high-level leads and maintain a presence in the medical community.</li><li>
Maintain close communication with regional and operational management to ensure the successful implementation of growth strategies and patient transition workflows.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
2 to 5 years of experience in physician relationship management, physician liaison roles, or healthcare market development.</li><li>
Prior experience within the dialysis or nephrology segment is highly preferred.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of the full healthcare business development cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship development through contract execution.</li><li>
Proven ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships with physicians, health systems, and community partners.</li><li>

Your Role:
This position is responsible for leading, managing, and directing a sales team comprised of Territory Business Managers and Therapy Development Specialist to achieve the financial and business objectives of the Greater Philadelphia, New York and Boston areas. As a sales leader, this role will have full accountability to the region&rsquo;s quota for disposables and capital sales in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan. This individual is responsible for implementing business strategies, personnel development, directing and monitoring the daily sales activities of the team, and ensuring customer satisfaction related to sales activities.
The product portfolio includes innovative technologies and therapies for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE).
What you will be doing:<ul><li>
Plan and lead the sales &amp; development efforts of the region including contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching plans, administrative requirements (Salesforce.com, Tableau, OneDrive, Workday, Concur, etc.).</li><li>
Drive the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment of regionally focused objectives.</li><li>
Plan, direct, and control the sales and business activities for the region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.</li><li>
Prepare annual regional forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region.</li><li>
Support the Territory Business Managers and Therapy Development Specialists with prospective customers, deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quote appropriate customer prices.</li><li>
Contact and collaborate with IDN Directors on major accounts within region to develop opportunity and ensure customer satisfaction.
</li><li>Partner with sales support, marketing and R&amp;D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and completing special projects.</li><li>
Promote culture and personnel development through regular field engagements (ride alongs).</li></ul> 
What you will bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required with 7+ years of healthcare sales experience and 3+ years of sales management experience.</li><li>
The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and presentation skills.</li><li>
Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time leadership skills.</li><li>
The candidate must demonstrate an eye for business and knowledge of sales processes as well as strong leadership and decision-making abilities.</li><li>
The ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is critical.</li><li>
Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel (50%+)</li></ul> 
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $156,000 to $175,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
