Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the organization&rsquo;s annual Marketing and Communication Plan in collaboration with appropriate Y staff or board committees.</li><li>
Design or produce materials such as posters, websites, or newsletters to promote, market, or advertise programs, enhance community visibility, and fundraising initiatives.</li><li>
Implement and maintain a string social media program with daily activity.</li><li>
Develop relationships with local media such as the Albuquerque Journal, radio stations, TV stations, etc. Develop and maintain media contact lists.</li><li>
Write and submit press release when appropriate. Maintains updated files of YMCA&rsquo;s media relations (both press and electronic).</li><li>
Provide timely marketing and communications products to the various Y programs, both internally and externally, in order to further the Y mission and financially sustain the organization for the future.</li><li>
Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals.</li><li>
Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes.</li><li>
Write speeches, talking points or other promotional materials to increase awareness of the cause, mission, or goals of organization.</li><li>
Develops, produces and distributes program information necessary to promote assigned programs, in accordance with membership, marketing plans and Y USA brand compliances.
</li><li>Develop effective working relationships with service groups, community organizations and companies. Make presentations about the YMCA in order to promote the organization in the community.
</li><li>Develop and manage content weekly on our website, app and intranet. Ensures training and support are provided to users.</li><li>
Utilize the free calendars in the community to communicate events.</li><li>
Actively seeks new avenues to enhance the local Y brand.</li><li>
Regularly review all marketing activities and promotions to evaluate their effectiveness against established KPIs, including conversion rates, engagement metrics, and return on investment. This review should also assess customer acquisition costs and overall campaign performance to ensure resources are being allocated strategically and driving measurable growth.</li></ul><div><b><br>
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT</b></div><ul><li>
Lead and assist COO or designate staff in event planning and execution.</li><li>
Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for events.</li><li>
Assist COO or designate staff to secure commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors for events.</li><li>
Prepare materials for charitable events, such as fundraising envelopes, bid sheets, gift bags, etc.</li><li>
Establish fundraising or participation goals with Development Director or designate staff and the Y Board for special events.</li><li>
Assist Development Director and coordinate web-based fundraising activities, such as online auctions or donation websites.</li><li>
Assist with planning and directing special events with assigned event chairman for fundraising, such as silent auction, dances, golf events or other innovative events or efforts that further the mission of the Y.</li><li>
Coordinate transportation or delivery of materials, supplies, or donations for events.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related fields/ Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of previous professional experience in marketing, communications, and community engagement.</li><li>
Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standards business software, graphic software, website development, and customer management systems.</li><li>

The Clinics Business Promotions Lead is responsible for oversight and coordination of all marketing and promotions for the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences (KDHS) health clinics at both the Pocatello and Meridian campuses and pharmacies across the state. UComm leverages strategic communications planning, media relations, branding, marketing, executive communications, and a wide range of digital media, to tell the stories of the university and its people in support of the university&rsquo;s strategic goals and mission to serve students.</p><p>
Under the federate model, the Marketing and Communications Program Director leads the strategic marketing and communications efforts for the CU Denver College of Arts and Media (CAM), driving enrollment growth, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting the college&rsquo;s mission. This position is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies that align with both university-wide initiatives and the specific goals of the CAM. The program director reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Strategic Communications and the Dean of the college to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms, brand consistency, and effective stakeholder engagement.<br>
This role will work with CAM leadership, university colleagues, and external partners to creatively showcase the college&rsquo;s mission, vision, and student, faculty and alumni work, and to advance the college&rsquo;s reputation locally and nationally.<br>
The incumbent will work directly with CAM team staff members to create marketing and communications tools that support recruitment, student services, events, academic and professional program management, advancement and alumni relations, finance, and more. The individual will also work closely with UComm staff as well as other communicators as needed across campus. The program director provides CAM-related content to UComm as directed for university wide use including news releases, CUDN, social media and marketing.</p><div><b>

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies serves as a catalyst for positive change by advancing global access, equity, and social and economic mobility through educational enrichment across the lifespan.</p><p>
As a fully self-supporting division under UC San Diego Academic Affairs, Extended Studies operates year-round (12 months of active instruction) with a budget of $50 million annually. A team of 260 academic and staff employees and more than 1,200 instructors fulfill the mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences and services that reflect our standing as part of a top-tier globally renowned public research University.</p><p>
Extended Studies operates in 200,000 square feet of managed space, including a headquarters building with classrooms, training spaces and key administrative offices adjacent to the UC San Diego campus, as well as off-campus classroom facilities in nearby University City. The division maintains a robust online learning platform, operating 24/7 with webcasting and video-conferencing capabilities, while also maintaining a strong web presence with e-commerce operating 24/7. There are over 90,000 enrollment transactions annually, supported by a robust network of representatives, agents, and students. Focused on community engagement and enrichment, the division operates two television stations, UCTV and UCSD-TV, and a variety of public lecture programs, while staying active in federal, state, local, and private research and technical assistance programs and activities.</p><p>
Extended Studies is also responsible for the management and financial, operational, and programming oversight of UC San Diego Park &amp; Market, a 66,000-square-foot, four-story, multi-purpose office building located in the East Village neighborhood of downtown San Diego. POSITION OVERVIEW</b></p><p>
The Assistant Director of Marketing oversees a comprehensive marketing program for UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies (DES) with moderately complex marketing requirements. Through a multi-disciplinary approach to marketing, branding, audience engagement, and campaign development, the Assistant Director of Marketing designs, directs, and implements marketing strategies to build awareness, drive enrollment, and support revenue goals. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the position is responsible for supervising a marketing team in the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts.
</p><p>Serves as a marketing professional for the UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. Provides the full range of marketing services under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications. Develops and directs marketing strategies in coordination with DES leadership, Digital Services, and Communication and in sync with campus brand standards and DES-wide goals. Has supervisory oversight for marketing team members in delivering campaign strategy, content development, stakeholder collaboration, and branding guidance. Provides leadership in workload planning, performance management, professional development, and continuous improvement of marketing operations and outcomes.</p><p>
Creates and implements strategic marketing plans that support division-wide and program-specific goals across multiple channels, platforms, and audiences. Performs a wide range of higher-level duties including marketing strategy development, campaign planning and prioritization, data analysis and performance reporting, stakeholder consultation, and optimization of marketing initiatives. While continuing to contribute directly to campaign development and execution, the Assistant Director exercises a higher level of decision-making authority regarding marketing approaches, timelines, and investment of resources.
