<div>The center director is responsible for developing opportunities and leading operations at a regional academic center in accordance with the mission and vision of Kellogg Community College. As a key member of the KCC Communications and Advancement Division, the director is a public representative of the College in various capacities, including at community events and in strengthening organizational relationships. The director is accountable for the delivery of on-site programs, student services and peripheral activities designed to fulfill the objectives of the College, Division, community partners and individual learners. The director must have excellent community engagement skills and working knowledge of the institution&rsquo;s divisions and primary functions.<br>

Kellogg Community College&rsquo;s Fehsenfeld Center campus opened in the fall of 1996 and is located on 95 acres just west of downtown Hastings, Michigan.</div>

The Director of Research Technology is a foundational role that supports the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai&rsquo;s research mission and ensures operational and regulatory integrity. Working within the Mount Sinai Health System Information Technology team and serving as a strategic leader and institutional liaison, the Director ensures that Mount Sinai&rsquo;s research enterprise is supported by secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions.</p><p>
Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Research Technology, the Director serves as the subject matter expert for research enterprise technology, providing oversight of systems supporting basic, translational and clinical research. With deep expertise in research administration, clinical research and compliance, the Director aligns institutional priorities with technology strategy. The role requires leading stakeholder engagement and process improvement, as well as translating complex research &amp; regulatory requirements into effective, technology enabled solutions while managing a team of product managers and analysts.</p><p><b>

Conditions with regional significance include blood disorders (sickle cell anaemia / thalassemia), neurodevelopmental disorders, metabolic disorders, cancers, and retinal disorders. Reporting to the Dean of the Medical College, Pakistan, <b>the Director, Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research </b>is responsible for strengthening regenerative medicine and genomic research across AKU by training fundamental, translational and clinical researchers and leading translational research programmes.<br>

<b>The ideal candidate for the role:</b><br>
The<b> Director </b>will be an inspirational leader who can develop and implement a strategic vision for the Centre. They will promote a culture of learning, innovation, collaboration, teamwork, respect and ethical conduct of research. The Director will strengthen relationships with researchers and clinicians across AKU and build a network of local and global partners, inclusive of academia, government research facilities, and industry. The Director will be a leader in AKU&rsquo;s regions for policy development relative to regenerative and genomic medicine, ethics, commercialization opportunities, and community engagement.<br>
<br>
The ideal candidate will work in domains of regenerative and genomic medicine that align with regional priorities for South Asia and East Africa, including Mendelian and complex disorders. The high rates of consanguinity in Pakistan enables the discovery of novel pathogenic variants for Mendelian diseases. The Centre/AKU facilities enable the development of iPSC and animal models targeting patient-specific variants, precise gene editing, investigation of signaling pathways, and drug testing. Together, these activities provide functional validation of disease-causing variants and mechanisms and enable therapeutic development. Conditions with regional significance include blood disorders (sickle cell anaemia / thalassemia), neurodevelopmental disorders, metabolic disorders, cancers, and retinal disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience in bench-to-bedside translation of cell or gene therapies in these regionally relevant domains.<br>

This is a full-time position, with flexibility to consider a part-time arrangement for an exceptional candidate, in alignment with University policies.<br>

<b>Specific responsibilities will include to:</b><ul><li>
lead interdisciplinary regenerative medicine research and training within the Medical College, Pakistan and AKU while strengthening local through international networks with a full range of stakeholders;
