This is an entry-level caregiving position where you help students with disabilities reach new heights and support them in their daily lives. You provide critical assistance in a wide range of areas, including housekeeping, cooking, making friends, and participating in community activities. Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist with daily living skills (e.g., lifting, transferring, toileting, personal hygiene, laundry, meal preparation).</li><li>
Promote appropriate community integration and social interaction (e.g. visiting family, friends, church/temple, etc).</li><li>
Implement outcomes developed through a Support Plan.</li><li>
Complete paperwork as assigned including documentation (e.g., incident reports, outcomes, log entries).</li><li>
Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, where applicable. With valid APD training Medication Administration Fl Code 65 G-7.</li><li>
Accompany residents on medical appointments when needed.</li><li>
Maintain living environment in accordance with D.D.A. regulations and health department standards.</li><li>
Provide Transportation to our consumer as needed.</li><li>
Make oneself available in emergency situations as the need arises.</li><li>
Work cooperatively with professional and paraprofessional staff in the interest of the consumer.</li><li>

Summary

Advocates for all participants, as appropriate</li><li>
Drives morning or afternoon route, including picking up participants from their homes or dropping them off at their homes</li></ul>
