RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product

o Assisting branches with product related questions or issues by phone, email or online support

o Performing quality checks verifying product descriptions and quantities match

o Locating orders in the warehouse

Distribution Center - Area Supervisor

<div><b>Position Purpose:</b><p>
The DC Assistant General Manager is responsible for the success of all operational functions within the highly complex distribution center environment of approximately 500,000 + square feet to ensure that it is an outstanding place to work. The DC Assistant General Manager is responsible for the supervision of a large team of DC Operations Managers in the Inbound, Warehouse, Outbound and Office Operations. The DC AGM works with the General Manager to develop strategies and objectives to maximize productivity and leverage expenses for the Home Depot distribution center. They must also be capable of working with Associates, Department Supervisors, DC Operations Managers, the General Manager as well as Stores, third party vendors, and the Merchandising, Supply Chain and Operations functions.</p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>

Your Profile:</b></div><br>
Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year.<br>

3-5 years of Material Handling/Warehouse Associate experience involving picking, packing and put away of materials in production operations.<br>

Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $21.00 to $27.00 per hour. Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.</div><p></p><p><b><br>

</b></h2></div><div><p>The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Supervise and ensure the accurate receipt, classification, and storage of products, materials, tools, and equipment.
</li><li>Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of operating procedures, space‑utilization strategies, and facility/equipment protection practices.
</li><li>Direct resources toward continuous improvement of material flow throughout distribution processes and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure planning and forecasting effectiveness.
</li><li>Oversee daily operations and team performance to ensure accurate, timely delivery of all products while preventing backorders and addressing safety concerns.
</li><li>Manage employee performance through coaching, feedback, setting, and accountability, ensuring team members meet operational and behavioral expectations.
</li><li>Provide strong leadership by motivating, developing, and guiding team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a high‑performing, engaged workforce.
</li><li>Maintain accurate incident and accident records in accordance with OSHA guidelines, and promote a strong safety culture within the department.
