Job Summary
</b></div><div>The Electrical Utility Distribution Operations Manager provides administrative and technical management for projects and direction of field operations through subordinate managers. This position manages field operations and works with customers, senior leaders, as well as personnel from various other departments.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.</li><li>
Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to assure customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of all operations' employees on assigned projects.</li><li>
Confer with project personnel to update project schedules on a weekly basis.</li><li>
Keep direct contact with projects in progress by visiting project sites.</li><li>
Assist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to reach a resolution of construction problems.</li><li>
Oversee all bid projects, including P&amp;L responsibility and management of fleet assets dedicated to bid projects.</li><li>
Work with Office Manager to ensure compliance with all internal reporting deadlines.</li><li>
Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports.</li><li>
Prepare and submit invoicing on a weekly basis. Work to resolve all accounts receivable invoices over 51 days.</li><li>
Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret policies as required.</li><li>
Cultivate and continuously seek to enhance an in-depth understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.</li><li>
Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Liaise with estimating to ensure projects comply with cost, revenue, and schedule.</li><li>
Examine estimates of material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.</li><li>
Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.</li><li>
Prepare project reports for management, client, or others, including dollar estimates to complete and variance analysis for significant items.</li><li>
Analyze projects for adherence to budget and percentage of profitability.</li><li>
Directly supervise 3 to 10 supervisors.</li><li>
Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints or resolving problems according to company policies.</li><li>
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li><b>
MUST</b> have 5 years of experience Electrical Utility Distribution industry experience i.e. Overhead and Underground Distribution.</li><li>
Previous Electrical Utility Distribution supervisory experience.</li></ul><div><b>

The DC Operations Manager is responsible for the success of assigned functions within a complex distribution center environment to ensure that it is an outstanding place to work. The DC Operations Manager may be responsible for the supervision of one or more of the following: Inbound Operations (Unloading and Receiving), Warehouse Operations (Pick-Pack, Break-Pack), Outbound Operations (Loading), Transportation Operations (Yard, Carrier Relations) and/or Office Operations (e.g., Transportation Coordinators, Customer Service Associates, General Office Associates). DC Operations Managers must analyze trends, solve problems and motivate and develop themselves and associates in order to maximize contribution to the DC success - typically manages through several Supervisors to achieve results from a large number of hourly associates.</p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>
20% Managing to ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas, efficient operations of warehouse management system(s) and related equipment, inventory is received appropriately and efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse, proper layout of warehouse and product placement, and proper maintenance and organization of all warehouse areas so that it's appearance is conducive to creating a perfect load for our Stores and Customers</li><li>

This is not a basic bookkeeping role &mdash; you will be responsible for keeping the business organized, financially accurate, and operationally efficient.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Accounting &amp; QuickBooks</b></p><ul><li>Manage all bookkeeping in QuickBooks (A/R, A/P, reconciliations)</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records and reports</li><li>Track cash flow, expenses, and margins</li><li>Handle invoicing, vendor payments, and collections</li><li>Prepare monthly P&amp;L and basic financial insights</li></ul><p><b>Operations Management</b></p><ul><li>Oversee daily operations of perfume distribution</li><li>Manage inventory tracking, stock levels, and purchase orders</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners</li><li>Ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping</li><li>Identify inefficiencies and fix them (not just report them)</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>3+ years experience with QuickBooks (must be hands-on, not theoretical)</li><li>Experience in distribution, wholesale, or inventory-based business</li><li>Strong understanding of inventory + accounting connection</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Problem solver &mdash; you fix issues without waiting to be told</li><li>Strong communication and accountability</li></ul><p><b>Preferred</b></p><ul><li>Experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry</li><li>Experience with inventory management systems</li><li>Understanding of margins, pricing, and supply chain</li></ul><p><b>Compensation</b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Performance-based incentives possible</li></ul><p>Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
