POSITION SUMMARY
Plan, organize, supervise, and control all functions of the Distribution unit to ensure the transportation of goods using a company vehicle from company facilities to customers, achieving operational objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Ensure compliance with strategies, tasks, priorities, policies, and procedures for the development, implementation, and achievement of the unit&rsquo;s work plan.</li><li>
Supervise, guide, monitor, correct, and maintain Distribution operations, ensuring delivery routes meet company efficiency and quality standards and customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Perform sound personnel management functions, including distribution, documentation, and supervision of work in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor regulations at local, state, and federal levels. This includes, but is not limited to: interviewing, training, evaluating, investigating, addressing, inspiring, motivating, instructing, managing and resolving conflicts and interpersonal situations, implementing corrective and disciplinary actions, and providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to staff while ensuring compliance with policies and performance standards.</li><li>
Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures for transporting and delivering goods. This applies both to the incumbent and their staff, including: 
 a. Loading the assigned vehicle according to delivery locations. 
 b. Packing refrigerated and frozen orders as needed. 
 c. Following the assigned delivery route. 
 d. Delivering goods to each customer. 
 e. Collecting COD payments or other customer payments. 
 f. Driving the assigned company vehicle in full compliance with traffic laws and company policies. 
 g. Submitting daily invoices and checks received during deliveries.</li><li>
Ensure appropriate structures and controls are in place for efficient transportation and delivery, monitoring full compliance across the unit.</li><li>
Continuously evaluate, analyze, identify, develop, and implement improvement opportunities in processes and personnel to optimize operations.</li><li>
Analyze and resolve transportation and delivery issues, planning and implementing necessary changes while prioritizing business needs.</li><li>
Ensure deliveries are completed according to assigned routes and schedules.</li><li>
Plan, develop, and implement safety procedures for employees within the unit.</li><li>
Collaborate effectively, timely, and productively with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain efficient operations.</li><li>
Actively contribute to the company&rsquo;s mission and vision, demonstrating through performance and behavior the efficiency culture, Bionuclear values, and principles of high-quality internal and external customer service.</li></ul>
INCIDENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Notify Customer Service staff of any issues arising during deliveries.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison between the customer and the company to gather feedback and support customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Promote a positive, efficient, and collaborative work environment.</li><li>
Prepare, execute, assist with, and/or participate in presentations and meetings as required.</li><li>
Participate in inventory processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures.</li><li>
Perform other duties as needed.</li></ul>
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent of this position directly supervises Drivers and the Assistant Driver.
EDUCATION
High school diploma.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three years of experience in similar functions or in a related position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and a good driving record.

Desarrollar, implementar y monitorear el cumplimiento de los procedimientos operativos para transportar y entregar la mercanc&iacute;a. Esto aplica a las tareas de distribuci&oacute;n que realiza el propio titular y a las realizadas por su personal, tales como: 
 a. Cargar el veh&iacute;culo asignado con la mercanc&iacute;a de acuerdo con los lugares de entrega. 
 b. Empacar las &oacute;rdenes de nevera y congelador, seg&uacute;n sea necesario. 
 c. Seguir y cumplir cabalmente con la ruta de entrega asignada. 
 d. Entregar la mercanc&iacute;a a cada cliente. 
 e. Recoger pagos de &oacute;rdenes COD o pagos de los clientes. 
 f. Conducir el veh&iacute;culo corporativo asignado a su uso respetando cabal y consistentemente las leyes de tr&aacute;nsito y las pol&iacute;ticas y procedimientos de la compa&ntilde;&iacute;a. 
 g. Entregar diariamente las facturas y cheques recibidos durante el transcurso de la entrega de mercanc&iacute;a.</li><li>
Garantizar que las estructuras y controles est&eacute;n establecidos e implementados correctamente para asegurar el transporte y la entrega eficientes de la mercanc&iacute;a, monitoreando y asegurando el cumplimiento cabal de toda su unidad.</li><li>
Evaluar, analizar, identificar, desarrollar e implementar continuamente &aacute;reas de oportunidad para la mejora en los procesos y en el personal para optimizar la operaci&oacute;n.</li><li>
Analizar y resolver problemas y situaciones con el transporte y entrega, as&iacute; como planificar e implementar las modificaciones requeridas priorizando las necesidades de la empresa.</li><li>
Asegurar el cumplimiento de las entregas de acuerdo con las rutas e itinerarios determinados.</li><li>
Planificar, desarrollar y aplicar los procedimientos de seguridad de los empleados adscritos a su unidad.</li><li>

<div>Lead the assigned operations area in an effective and efficient manner in line with the safety and governmental standards capitalizing on the operation manpower and proper utilization of the DCs resources.
Accountabilities
Distribution Center Management:
<ul><li>Lead the operations in line with to all standards (Safety, SFDA, ISO, etc.) to ensure following ISO standard and safety of staff.
</li><li>Plan the demand fluctuation, Seasonality &amp; Capacity Utilization through orders frequency and execution of Crisis Management to ensure smooth operations, efficiency and high responsiveness

 The DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team and influences the entire distribution team to do the fast-paced work required to run the distribution center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. Distribution Center - Area Supervisor

<div>Position Purpose:
The DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team and influences the entire distribution team to do the fast-paced work required to run the distribution center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. This role will handle management responsibilities for the team members under his/her supervision. This role is responsible for ensuring prompt, efficient and accurate handling of merchandise as well as developing and implementing team goals. This role is responsible for hiring, evaluation, development, discipline, and termination of hourly associates. This role has management responsibilities for 20 to 30 hourly associates. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
45% Managing Process: Ensures all operations procedures are followed effectively, and identifies and recommends needed changes to Operations Manager and/or Assistant General Manager on the standardized processes for the functional area. Evaluates and analyzes current work methods and recommends ways to eliminate inefficiences.</li><li>
25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service and quality. Responsible for the training, coaching and feedback of hourly associates, and performs regular evaluations of associates through factual data and subjective observations. Uses discretion to provide coaching and counseling to associates regarding job performance, methods of performing job tasks. Resolves associate relations issues that arise in assigned functional area. Responsible for hiring, compensation, discipline and terminations of hourly associates in assigned department. Investigates operational errors to determine the cause and recommends corrective action where needed.</li><li>
15% Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports identifies area of improvement for key metrics inclouding productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.</li><li>
15% Business Planning: Coordinats and monitors operations with the functional area to ensure performance production rates are consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages.
