This position is responsible for managing all operational and team member aspects of a traveling 7-person district Field Activity Support Team (FAST) whose duties include executing planograms and physical inventories, as well as providing support for merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. Primary duties include building the team, leading execution of company merchandising and inventory standards, and interacting with customers and team members, while providing legendary customer service. This position is also responsible for promoting a safe and productive work environment for all Team Members, customers, and vendors, as well as training Team Members on the appropriate application of policies and procedures.</p>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)</b></h2>
</div><div><p>
As a District FAST Supervisor, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:</p>
<ul><li>Maintain regular and predictable attendance.</li>
<li>Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, and nights as dictated by business needs.</li>
<li>Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following and enforcing policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Build the district Field Activity Support Team (FAST). This includes hiring/staffing decisions, Team Member retention, Team Member training and development, succession planning, Team Member performance reviews and counseling, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Create/manage the schedule and payroll management. This includes scheduling the team&rsquo;s travel to specified stores, the work performed by the FAST Team Members while in those stores, timeframes spent by the team in stores, building an effective team to work together, including the number of FAST Team Members required to complete tasks.</li>
<li>Lead execution of Tractor Supply Company standards. This includes merchandising and inventory standards/processes, merchandise and fixture assembly, signage maintenance, as well as planning and delegation of daily tasks.</li>
<li>Communicate proactively and regularly with the Regional FAST Manager on project status, obstacles to completion, and offer solutions to overcome.</li>
<li>Provide recommendations to and partner with the Regional FAST Manager on process changes and enhancements.</li>
<li>Support the District Manager in achieving overall merchandising goals for the District.</li>
<li>Maintain regular communication with the District Manager and Store Managers regarding your team&rsquo;s planned activities within the district, as well as any progress and/or challenges.</li>

</ul></li><li>This position is required to perform a combination of the following duties during their day. Although the mix may vary from one day to another, our business and staffing model makes it essential that every District FAST Supervisor be able to perform all of the following FAST Team Member duties accurately, efficiently and safely on a regular basis and without advance notice:
<ul><li>Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Maintain visual merchandise standards</li>
<li>Perform store specific measurements</li>
<li>Complete store layout initiatives</li>
<li>Perform accurate counts for store inventories, as well as cycle counts</li>
<li>Complete Tractor Way top cap process</li>
<li>Hang store signage</li>
<li>Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs</li>
<li>Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity</li>
<li>Provide peak coverage as needed (E.g., DAT)</li>
</ul></li><li>District FAST Supervisor may also be required to perform other duties as assigned.<br>
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications</b></h2>
</div><div><p>
Experience: 5 years of retail and/or merchandising experience. 2 years of retail leadership and/or merchandising leadership experience is required. Profit/Loss, scheduling, shrink control, payroll management, staffing, hiring, supervising and counseling experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Any combination of education and experience will be considered. Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</p>
<p>Education: High School diploma or the equivalent is required. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write and count accurately.<br>

</div><ul><li>Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.
</li><li>Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours
</li><li>Traveling between store locations in your personal vehicle is required; often with long periods of time
</li><li>Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines
</li><li>Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate.

</li><li>It is essential that Team Members have the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the store and outdoor areas quickly and safely.

The DC Area Supervisor leads an hourly team and influences the entire distribution team to do the fast-paced work required to run the distribution center as efficiently, safely and productively as possible. This role will handle management responsibilities for the team members under his/her supervision. 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service and quality. Uses discretion to provide coaching and counseling to associates regarding job performance, methods of performing job tasks. Resolves associate relations issues that arise in assigned functional area. Responsible for hiring, compensation, discipline and terminations of hourly associates in assigned department. Investigates operational errors to determine the cause and recommends corrective action where needed.</li><li>
15% Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports identifies area of improvement for key metrics inclouding productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.</li><li>
15% Business Planning: Coordinats and monitors operations with the functional area to ensure performance production rates are consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages.
