The position is onsite and based in Miramar Florida with one or two days at Port/Biscayne Miami as needed

Position Summary:</div> 

The Dry Dock Procurement Manager plays a key role in supporting dry dock planning and execution by managing procurement activities across shipyards and suppliers for vessels across the Royal Caribbean brand portfolio Reporting to the Director of Dry Dock Procurement this position partners closely with Ship Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure specifications are translated into structured sourcing packages enabling efficient RFP processing and negotiation The role involves analytical work to evaluate quotes benchmark pricing and support decision-making aligned with project goals and cost optimization targets The manager also supports resolution of procurement-related issues that may impact dry dock timelines or budget 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Contract and Financial Management:

<li>Assist in the development of standardized RFP templates and harmonized specifications</li>
<li>Conduct cost comparisons and price analysis to support contract negotiations led by the Director</li>
Manage Statements of Work (SOW) supplier agreements time sheets<li> and final yard bill reconciliation</li>
Monitor and escalate procurement-related issues<li> including purchase order discrepancies or urgent sourcing needs</li>
<li>Support resolution of warranty claims and delivery issues</li>
<li>Assess supply chain risks and support mitigation strategies</li>
<li>Performance Monitoring:</li>
<li>Monitor shipyard and supplier performance against defined targets</li>
<li>Provide updates on sourcing initiatives and contribute to reporting on business and supplier performance</li>

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:</div>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Naval Architecture &amp; Marine Engineering Business Administration<ul><li> Project Management or related field</li>
<li>8-10 years of experience: 5+ years of technical shipyards or technical ship management experience involving Dry Dock and 5+ in a procurement leadership role with demonstrated experience managing complex sourcing projects and supplier relationships</li>
<li>Experience in a cruise line or maritime shipping environment related to technical and purchasing is preferred</li>
Experience managing procurement processes in high-pressure<li> time-sensitive environment</li>
<li>Proficient in the use of analytical tools to evaluate cost profiles and cost reduction opportunities</li>
Strong understanding of strategic sourcing methods technologies<li> and processes</li>
