Job Description 
Reports To: Beverage Manager, Food &amp; Beverage Director
General Purpose: The Bartender provides timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for each guest.
Specific Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Follows all steps of service.</li><li>
Provides superior service behind the bar by preparing drinks according to recipe standards.</li><li>
Knows drink names, ingredients, method of preparation, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.</li><li>
Knows all wines by the glass and at least five wines in each category on the wine list in varying price ranges and styles.</li><li>
Knows specialty beverages, i.e., single malt scotches, cognacs, specialty drinks, and beer lists.</li><li>
Knows all menu descriptions of the bar menu and dining room menu.</li><li>
Ensures all stock is up to par levels.</li><li>
Completes daily inventory and informs servers/managers/bar back of any changes.</li><li>
Verifies all guests are at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
Provides prompt, accurate report of all income received during shift.</li><li>
Sells beverages responsibly with the customer's best interest in mind.</li><li>
Maintains smooth flow of service between bar and server requests.</li><li>
Completes all side work as outlined in the manual.</li><li>
Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.</li><li>
Maintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests.</li><li>
Maintains a clean, orderly appearance in the restaurant service area.</li><li>
