This includes setting up activity areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring resources are accessible.</li><li>Direct Instruction: Teach and guide children through planned activities, facilitating hands-on learning and encouraging engagement. Lead teachers are responsible for teaching foundational skills (e.g., language, social skills, motor skills) and fostering creativity through art, music, and play.</li><li>Compliance and Licensing: Ensure classroom operations comply with state licensing regulations and the center&rsquo;s policies, especially around ratios, safety guidelines, and reporting requirements.</li><li>Daily Communication with Parents: Keep parents informed of their child&rsquo;s daily activities, progress, and any incidents. Use the Brightwheel app to upload photos and other important notifications. Make yourself available to parents coming into the classroom for pick-up and drop-off when possible.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrative staff, and the center director to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and cohesion of the program.</li><li>Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the classroom, including regular disinfection of toys, surfaces, and materials according to state health guidelines.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>A high school diploma or GED is required</li><li>A valid fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety</li><li>Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain one</li><li>(Preferred): An associate degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
