Responsibilities include: Assisting with day to day classroom activities and needs as directed by the Lead Teacher to include tracking behavior, educational, and IEP data and assisting with writing IEP or other behavior or education goals and objectives. Will write daily lesson plans for assigned content or developmental areas to include writing appropriate adaptions and modifications for lesson plans, adjusting for individual student strengths, deficits and ability levels. They will provide a safe, clean, creative and structured learning environment that promotes educational and developmental progress in both neuro-typical and identified students. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative/team classroom setting and will have strong interpersonal and computer skills. They will have effective communication with appropriate verbal, non-verbal, written and listening skills. Candidates will have experience in and an understanding of the field of Autism, education and ABA. Candidates must be familiar with HIPAA and have the ability to maintain confidential information regarding students.
