<div>Program Coordinator - Early Intervention
Sunny Days is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator for our Greater Sacramento Early Intervention program. This fast-paced, high-volume, administrative coordination position will manage and process referrals from Alta California Regional Center.
Duties include facilitating the coordination of services for children enrolled in our home-based, early intervention program by communicating via email and phone with in-home field staff, regional center service coordinators, and families. The program coordinator is also responsible for managing and processing a high volume of digital paperwork, tracking spreadsheets and database reports and to ensure compliance with our agency policies and contracts.
We are looking for a high-quality candidate with direct service experience, ideally in the field of early intervention and/or education, who is interested in joining our Sunny Days coordination team!
To be effective in this role, candidates must:
<ul><li>Possess superior communication skills and have the ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of stakeholders solely via email and phone.</li>
<li>Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills.</li>
<li>Be detail-oriented, finding enjoyment in fitting the puzzle pieces together.</li>
<li>Have strong computer literacy and data management skills.</li>
<li>Have solid clinical experience and expertise with young children, birth to three.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in special education or related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of experience working with children; early intervention, infants/toddlers/preschoolers preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years working in an administrative capacity.</li>
<li>Computer literacy and data entry experience.</li>
<li>Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus!</li>

Develop, coordinate, and implement special instruction or family training as part of Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) or early childhood preschool education for enrolled children. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Participate in the development and implementation of each child&rsquo;s program and Individualized Service Plan as part of a team, including participation in IFSP meetings with Family Resources Coordinator, family, and other providers</li><li>
Provide services within the child&rsquo;s natural environment which includes home-based or community-based services</li><li>
Assess each child&rsquo;s developmental level of functioning; develop daily and monthly teaching plans; implement routines-based curricula at Kindering, home, or community childcare as needed
</li><li>Provide parent and/or provider coaching as a service delivery model. Provide families with information, skills, and support relating to enhancing the skill development of infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities or delays</li><li>
Conduct formal and/or informal evaluations of child&rsquo;s development; prepare progress reports; and maintain accurate records of contact for each child</li><li>
When assigned to a classroom, communicate with Early Learning Coordinator to support enrollment in class. Oversee and provide training to assistant educators and classroom volunteers with the assistance of the Teaching Assistant Manager. Facilitate team meetings to discuss specific children and classroom functioning.</li><li>
Refer children and families to appropriate community or Kindering programs, support groups, and other services</li><li>
Provide or support outreach, intensive informing, care planning, coordination, anticipatory guidance for complex health needs, assistance to access services, consultation, resource development, interagency coordination, training, program planning, quality management, and administration to support Medicaid programs.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
