Coordinates program courses as assigned. Includes the planning, implementation, and evaluation process per Program procedures.</li><li>
Presents content for each course as mutually established with the Operations Manager and/or Clinical Education Specialist.</li><li>
Coordinates labs as assigned.</li><li>
Serves as a lab instructor as assigned.</li><li>
Maintains accurate records and files of courses, students, and programs.</li><li>
Evaluates student progress periodically, consults with the Operations Manager and/or Clinical Education Specialist. Documents problems as they arise.</li><li>
Evaluates students in all three domains (cognitive, psychomotor, and affective) and provides feedback to students on a frequent basis.</li><li>
Participates in the item development, revision, and analysis process to meet accreditation standards.</li><li>
Reviews student evaluation forms and student patient care reports as requested and provides students with appropriate feedback.</li><li>
Supervises students in the clinical areas as scheduled in conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator, as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides limited amount of tutoring as requested.</li><li>
Maintains examination security through monitoring all exams and securing evaluation tools under lock and key (or electronic equivalent).</li><li>
Remains current with State and local EMS and accreditation requirements, policies, and procedures.</li><li>
Maintains Instructor status for standardized courses as mutually agreed upon.</li><li>
Provides Education for all AMR of Syracuse EMT Programs including Earn While You Learn and other scheduled EMT-B classes.</li><li>
Handles all billing associated with EMT-B classes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
Education/Licensing/Certification:</b></p><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>
current NYS EMT certification</li><li>
Certified Instructor Coordinator-BLS or ALS</li><li>
NYS BLS Instructor preferred</li><li>
NYS ACLS Instructor preferred</li><li>
PHTLS or ITLS Instructor preferred</li><li>
PALS instructor preferred</li></ul><p><b>
Experience:</b></p><ul><li>
Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as an EMT-B or EMT-A or EMT-P.</li><li>
Documented teaching experience</li><li>
EMS educational program development to include learner-centered lessons in accordance with state certification and/or re-certification curricula and evaluation systems preferred.</li></ul><p><b>
Knowledge and Skills:</b></p><ul><li>
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>
Must have strong organizational skills</li><li>
