Job Summary
 
 
The Teacher utilizes current strategies and theories to plan, organize and implement structured lessons to instruct K12 students.
 
 
What you will do
<ul><li>Instruct students in an in-person classroom environment through lectures, discussions, visual aids, instructional strategies, and other effective teaching methods for student comprehension.

Role Mission: IDEA Special Education teachers are responsible for the achievement and support of special education. Special Education teachers develop individualized plans and work with students who have a wide range of learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities. They provide in-class support for various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, to students with outlined service minutes support. They also teach content mastery for students with outlined accommodations and service minutes support. The IDEA Special Education teacher provides the crucial bridge between home and school for our highest need students and their families.

Compensation:
<ul><li>The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $59,500. This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer additional performance-based compensation. The ED Tele Tech plays a vital dual role in supporting both clinical care and departmental operations within the Emergency Department. The Telemetry Technician maintains visual surveillance of monitor screens, identifies equipment malfunctions, and communicates urgent information to the appropriate clinical team members in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is required. Must hold or be able to obtain a current school-approved licensure/certification. Must have experience in instructing students in a classroom setting. A special education license or endorsement is preferred. Reading intervention endorsement or experience is also preferred.
Working knowledge of the subject matter assigned, classroom management, best practices and strategies, as well as the understanding of diverse student learning styles and needs is required. Qualifications to administer both cognitive and achievement testing with the ability to interpret testing data is needed. This position will also require reading and writing educational evaluation reports.
Must have excellent planning skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and able to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
