The Associate Editorial Content Director serves as a primary editorial and content strategist, and an integral part of the Alloy PR team. <div><p><b>The Maryland Food Bank (MFB)</b> is a nonprofit, anti-hunger organization whose mission is to feed people, strengthen communities, and end hunger for more Marylanders. MFB does this work by expanding access to nutritious food while also seeking to eliminate the root causes of hunger.</p><p>
MFB distributes food through a statewide network of community-based organizations from Maryland&rsquo;s western mountains to its Eastern Shore. About the position</b></p><p>
The Director, Content Strategy (Director) is responsible for developing and executing the Maryland Food Bank&rsquo;s content marketing strategy&mdash;ensuring that stories, messages, and editorial assets consistently advance brand awareness, audience engagement, and campaign goals across channels, while reflecting MFB&rsquo;s mission and culture of philanthropy.</p><p><b>
Primary Responsibilities:</b></p><div><ul><li>
Develop and lead an integrated content marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and donor/supporter movement.</li><li>
Define editorial direction, messaging frameworks, and maintain brand voice consistency across all channels.</li><li>
Plan and manage an editorial calendar aligned with campaigns, fundraising cycles, and organizational priorities.</li><li>
Create and oversee high-impact content (stories, campaigns, newsletters, reports) across digital and print platforms.</li><li>
Gather insights from internal teams, donors, and stakeholders to inform content strategy and storytelling.</li><li>
Direct content development efforts, providing guidance, feedback, and quality control for internal and external contributors.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally to surface stories, data, and impact that support marketing and fundraising goals.</li><li>

Basic Qualifications:</b></p><div><ul><li>
8&ndash;10+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or storytelling roles.</li><li>

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities.</li><li>

<p><i>Oklahoma Magazine</i> is seeking an energetic, deadline-oriented individual to join the editorial team. This part-time or full-time position reports to the managing editor, publisher and president of <i>Oklahoma Magazine</i>.
