About Us 
The Creekside School is a specialized, nonpublic school dedicated to supporting students on the autism spectrum with severe to profound behavioral and developmental needs. We are a highly collaborative, mission-driven team focused on helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally within a structured, supportive environment. We are seeking experienced, resilient, and committed Registered Behavior Technicians who are prepared to work with students requiring a high level of behavioral and instructional support.
What You&rsquo;ll Do 
As an RBT at Creekside, you will work closely with Special Educators, BCBAs, and Related Service Providers to implement individualized education and behavior programs.
In this role, you will:<ul><li>
Implement IEP goals, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and individualized student programs with consistency and fidelity</li><li>
Collect accurate behavioral and academic data throughout the day</li><li>
Support students with communication, social-emotional development, and independence skills</li><li>
Utilize evidence-based behavioral strategies for students with severe to profound needs</li><li>
Build strong, structured relationships with students to support engagement and learning</li><li>
Maintain a safe, organized, and highly structured classroom environment</li><li>
Participate in team collaboration, trainings, and student planning meetings</li><li>
Support students during community-based instruction and outings (including transportation when required)</li></ul>
Who You Are<ul><li>
Experienced working with individuals on the autism spectrum with severe to profound behavioral challenges</li><li>
Calm, patient, and able to maintain professionalism in high-intensity situations</li><li>
Skilled in implementing behavior intervention strategies with consistency</li><li>
Comfortable with crisis intervention protocols (training provided)</li><li>
A strong team player with clear and professional communication skills</li><li>
Detail-oriented and consistent with data collection</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>
High school diploma required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with severe developmental disabilities in a school, clinical, or therapeutic setting (2+ years strongly preferred)</li><li>
Experience implementing behavior plans and collecting data required</li></ul>
Important to Know 
This position works with students who may engage in significant behaviors, including aggression (biting, hitting, kicking), self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. Staff are trained in Safety-Care (QBS) and are expected to implement proactive strategies and, when necessary, safe physical interventions as a last resort.
This is a highly active, hands-on role requiring physical movement, including standing, walking, lifting, and responding quickly in crisis situations.

**Company Description**
Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George&rsquo;s County, UM Capital Region Medical Center is a new state-of-the-art regional medical center dedicated to providing improved access to primary and ambulatory care services. Serving as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients, our facility also expands community partnerships aimed at enhancing the health status of Prince George&rsquo;s County residents. 
**Position Summary**
Under the direction of a licensed nurse and/or physician, the ED Technician II assists in patient care by performing triage, registration, basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and related routine, non-professional nursing care. This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and current CNA certification. 
**Key Responsibilities** 
*Patient Care*<ul><li>Provide safe, effective, timely, and efficient care to assigned patients under licensed nurse supervision.</li><li>Perform basic patient care functions including comfort measures, linen distribution, assisting with nourishment, and managing bedpans or urinals.</li><li>Conduct patient care procedures such as obtaining weights, vital signs, glucose monitoring, suctioning of tracheostomy/ET tubes, intake and output monitoring, dressing changes, specimen collection, and splint application as directed.</li><li>Observe, interpret, and promptly report changes in patient conditions or behaviors. Respond quickly to patient call lights.</li><li>Accurately respond to cardiac monitor alarms by identifying cardiac rhythms and communicating findings; procure rhythm strips per guidelines.</li><li>Assist with patient transfers and transport using proper safety and body mechanics.</li><li>Ensure patient safety by monitoring arm bands, side rails, restraints, call light positioning, and toileting needs. Secure patient valuables as necessary.</li></ul> 
*Documentation*<ul><li>Accurately document patient activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs, weights, dressing changes, suctioning, and other care activities.</li><li>Maintain unit records including admission, transfer, discharge logs, and interventions.</li><li>Support clerical duties such as placing orders, retrieving information, and transcribing physician orders.</li></ul> 
*Supplies and Equipment*<ul><li>Assess and procure necessary supplies; stock patient care areas and emergency equipment.</li><li>Set up and operate oxygen, cardiac monitors, EKG machines, and other patient care equipment.</li><li>Perform quality control on glucometers and ensure emergency equipment is functional; report malfunctions promptly.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, supply carts, IV pumps, and patient rooms following infection control procedures.</li></ul>

Position Overview:
As a Clinical Learning Lab Tech at Galen College of Nursing, you will support and enhance clinical learning lab experiences for all learners in collaboration with program faculty to ensure quality and continuity in the achievement of course student learning outcomes (CSLOs) for all programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare the clinical learning laboratory equipment in preparation for classes and open labs.
2. Ensure that equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and in good working order. Notify the Clinical Learning Laboratory Coordinator if equipment needs to be repaired or replaced.
3. Inventory laboratory supplies; stock supplies and ensure supplies are available to students, as needed.
4. General copying and material distribution as required; case studies, forms, etc.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
