Responsible for ensuring the serviceability of all equipment and systems under the department. Carryout inspection of completed works by external vendors and ensure all specifications and regulatory requirements are met.</li><li>
To prepare and review electrical work methods in coordination with maintenance contractors and Permit To Work team (PTW), to ensure safe and efficient work execution as per the standards.</li><li>
Reviewing spare part usage and ensuring the required quantities available with maintenance contractors to have uninterrupted services .</li><li>

Job Summary</b><br>

The Medical Technologist I performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. This role ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to quality control protocols and maintaining laboratory instruments. The Medical Technologist I supports patient care by completing tests efficiently, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in data collection for regulatory compliance. This position may also include teaching new employees and students and performing phlebotomy duties as needed.<br>

<b>Essential Functions</b></p><ul><li>
Performs moderate and high complexity laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely reporting of results with appropriate documentation.</li><li>
Adheres to quality control procedures by performing required checks, analyzing data, troubleshooting out-of-range results, and taking corrective actions as necessary.</li><li>
Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly instrument function checks and preventative maintenance according to laboratory policies and procedures.</li><li>
Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions, attempting corrective actions or notifying the appropriate personnel or manufacturer as needed.</li><li>
Ensures all laboratory procedures comply with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to the Laboratory Safety Plan.</li><li>
Communicates effectively with peers, supervisors, and other healthcare staff, providing timely updates on unusual patient results, instrument malfunctions, and quality control issues.</li><li>
Assists with proficiency testing and data collection required for laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Collects chain-of-custody urine drug screens and performs phlebotomy duties as required to support patient care needs.</li><li>
Collaborates with team members to ensure shift duties and department responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or, Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science required or</li><li>
Passing score on the Clinical Laboratory Technology Proficiency examination approved by HHS (HEW) required</li><li>
0-2 years of acute care experience required</li></ul><p><b>
