<div>The E&amp;I Manager is a salaried exempt position responsible for managing the electrical and instrumentation maintenance functions. This critical leadership role involves direct management of engineers, supervisors, and the indirect oversight of bargaining unit hourly employees. The manager will lead efforts to maintain safe and efficient E&amp;I operations, utilizing key performance indicators to guide, plan and execute key objectives. Active participation in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing programs is essential to meet operational goals.</div>

FUNCTIONS</b></h1>
<ul><li>Install and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment according to company specifications.</li>
<li>Comply with all Company policies and governmental regulations related to Health, Safety, and Operations.</li>
<li>Engage in all safety training sessions, safety classes, pre-shift meetings when necessary and obtain any necessary certifications.</li>
<li>Proficient with Rockwell HMI and PLC systems.</li>
<li>Handle after-hour plant electrical issues on a rotating schedule.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report any issues.</li>
<li>Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance job performance and adhere to workplace safety standards.</li>
<li>Assist with other tasks or operate different machinery as needed and qualified.</li>
<li>Direct E&amp;I maintenance operations to ensure quality services aligned with job schedules and specifications.</li>
<li>Develop and administer plans for effective material and labor usage.</li>
<li>Successfully participate in and complete all periodic Company designated safety training, supervisory and management skills training and/or certifications related to the position.</li>

<li>Assist in budget preparation and establish cost measurement standards.</li>
<li>Identify training needs and implement appropriate programs for all E&amp;I personnel.</li>
<li>Develop and execute strategies to achieve key performance objectives.</li>
<li>Create, implement, and monitor departmental KPIs.</li>
<li>Utilize Six Sigma and lean processes for equipment optimization and downtime reduction.</li>
<li>Maintain asset management systems to enhance equipment performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Lead problem-solving strategies and supervise key performance objectives execution in the mill.</li>
<li>Mentor supervisors/engineers to enhance their management skills and foster employee engagement.</li>
<li>Encourage a behavior-based crew-led safety process.</li>
<li>Assist with other tasks or operate different machinery as needed and qualified.</li>
<li>Adhere to safety, health, and environmental protocols and regulations.</li>
<li>Abide by and enforce all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and comply with all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations relating to Health, Safety, Operations, etc.</li>
<li>Confer with department heads in regards to proposed work.</li>
<li>Scheduled on call weeks and weekends</li>

<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a regionally accredited university.</li>
<li>Minimum 8 years of supervisory and or management experience in E&amp;I maintenance, preferably in a similar industry.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of precision E&amp;I maintenance techniques and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).</li>
<li>Experience with troubleshoot/design high voltage AC (138KV, 13.8KV, 4160V, 2400V) and medium voltage AC (480V, 277V, 208V) systems in an industrial environment.</li>
<li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</li>

<ul><li>30% of the work environment is conducted in an open outdoor environment, exposed to heights and rapidly changing temperatures including extreme heat, weather conditions, blowing dust and particles, burning bulk and liquid fuel, while wearing PPE (i.e.: hard hat, goggles, hair net, ear plugs, and/or full body chemical resistant suits), climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crawling, bending, stooping, reaching, and walking on uneven ground containing slip and trip hazards.</li>
<li>70% of the work environment is conducted in an environmentally controlled indoor environment, exposed to caustic chemicals, regularly climbing stairs/ladders, prolonged kneeling, walking on uneven ground containing trip hazards, routinely reaching overhead with up to 25 lbs. loads, occasionally pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs., and regularly looking upwards and downwards.</li>

Job Summary
</b></div><div>The Electrical Utility Distribution Operations Manager provides administrative and technical management for projects and direction of field operations through subordinate managers. This position manages field operations and works with customers, senior leaders, as well as personnel from various other departments.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
*** To be considered for this role you MUST have Electrical Utility Distribution experience with Supervisory experience in the same industry.</b></div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.</li><li>
Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to assure customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Plan, coordinate, and/or supervise activities of all operations' employees on assigned projects.</li><li>
Confer with project personnel to update project schedules on a weekly basis.</li><li>
Keep direct contact with projects in progress by visiting project sites.</li><li>
Assist in disputes on all projects, negotiating as required to reach a resolution of construction problems.</li><li>
Oversee all bid projects, including P&amp;L responsibility and management of fleet assets dedicated to bid projects.</li><li>
Work with Office Manager to ensure compliance with all internal reporting deadlines.</li><li>
Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports.</li><li>
Prepare and submit invoicing on a weekly basis. Work to resolve all accounts receivable invoices over 51 days.</li><li>
Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret policies as required.</li><li>
Cultivate and continuously seek to enhance an in-depth understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.</li><li>
Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Liaise with estimating to ensure projects comply with cost, revenue, and schedule.</li><li>
Examine estimates of material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.</li><li>
Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.</li><li>
Prepare project reports for management, client, or others, including dollar estimates to complete and variance analysis for significant items.</li><li>
Analyze projects for adherence to budget and percentage of profitability.</li><li>
Directly supervise 3 to 10 supervisors.</li><li>
Carry out supervisory responsibilities such as training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints or resolving problems according to company policies.</li><li>
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li><b>
MUST</b> have 5 years of experience Electrical Utility Distribution industry experience i.e. Overhead and Underground Distribution.</li><li>
Previous Electrical Utility Distribution supervisory experience.</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred
</b></div><ul><li>8 or more years of related experience, with significant supervisory experience.</li><li>
OSHA 10 Certification.</li></ul><div><b>
