<div>The General Foreman must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor; provide the necessary information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools and equipment needed for crew(s) to accomplish the work.

<ul><li>Assist in planning and scheduling; enforce safe practices and job safety programs</li>
<li>Monitor all paperwork for accuracy, clarity and completeness; analyze the work to find a more productive cost-efficient method</li>

<li>Prepare employees for additional responsibilities; and keep the proper management informed of all significant information</li>

<li>Responsible for steering documents between ENERCON and an external partner/contractor</li>
<li>Recipient for all qualitative topics of the contractor</li>
<li>Responsible for the communication of all qualitative topics from the partner/contractor to the ENERCON departments QM/QA, R&amp;D and defined contact persons</li>
<li>Supporting the partner/contractor in processing quality-related topics with ENERCON</li>

Parsons is looking for an experienced <b>Works Inspector (Electrical)</b> to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and inspect daily site operations related to electrical construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.</p><p></p><p><b>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li>
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Monitor and report on work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and recommending corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.</li><li>
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.</li><li>
Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.</li><li>
Coordinate with the construction teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works, such as power distribution systems, lighting installations, wiring, and control systems.</li><li>
Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with electrical works.</li><li>
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for electrical works.</li><li>
Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that electrical components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li>
Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.</li><li>
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical construction inspection, with at least 5 years in an inspection role for large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage systems, water supply networks, and sewer systems.</li><li>
Strong understanding of electrical construction standards, codes, and regulations.</li><li>
Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.</li><li>
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

Responsibilities Our newest opportunity is for a talented Electrical Inspector - Infrastructure to join our team based in Dubai, UAE. We envisage success in this role to include; Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner. Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice. Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action. Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety and health risk assessments. Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events. Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines. Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise. Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
