The Quality Control Technician ensures that medium voltage (MV) electrical systems and components meet design specifications, safety standards, and quality control requirements during construction and commissioning. This role combines electrical engineering knowledge with quality assurance practices to verify that MV equipment &mdash; such as transformers, switchgear, cables, and protection systems for utility scale solar projects &mdash; are installed, tested, and documented correctly.

</li><li>Collaboratively develop site specific inspections and test reports and review contractor inspection and test plans
</li><li>Ensure all records required from the Quality Management system are controlled, maintained, and provide

<ul><li>Attend and participate in project meetings and provide liaison between engineers and contractors and craft workers to ensure electrical components of the project comply with drawings and specifications.
</li><li>Maintain relationships with all visitors to the site: customers and contractors
</li><li>Recommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards
</li><li>Prepare nonconformance reports to the QA/QC Manager and assist in developing corrective actions
</li><li>Work with engineering staff to ensure plans, specifications, submittals and RFIs are transmitted to subcontractors accurately and timely
