MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The technician is responsible for providing support to Intelliguard customers and Intelliguard employees. This position requires interaction with customers and/or Intelliguard Sales and Marketing personnel and providing answers for level one technical problems and working closely with the Intelliguard Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technical Support for more complex problems. The Technician must be a self-starter, quick learner with the ability to work independently and efficiently and have a professional customer service attitude.What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>The Field Service Technician will be required to provide advanced technological, repair, and troubleshooting support with total customer satisfaction in mind.</li><li>This individual must demonstrate strong electronic repair troubleshooting skills and knowledge.</li><li>Must be able to respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service daily within established response time goals.</li><li>Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction at assigned sites / locations.</li><li>Foster positive customer relations and a high degree of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers.</li><li>Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.</li><li>Completes all scheduled maintenance within required deadlines.</li><li>Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis</li><li>When not supporting field activities, technician will be reporting to Operations in support of design, development, continuous improvement, and manufacturing activities.</li><li>Configuring hardware and software components after installation.</li><li>Manages the stock of replacement parts and service equipment.</li><li>Submit detailed written reports for all on-site services in accordance with established procedures.</li><li>Submit accurate and complete expense reports promptly after each service trip.</li><li>Understand and comply with Intelliguard&rsquo;s Quality Management System</li><li>Other service-related tasks as assigned.</li></ul>We Would Love To Hear From You, If:<ul><li>High School Diploma required</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Technical Degree preferred, preferred with 1-3 years of prior related experience</li><li>Strong electro/mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Self-driven to excel and fit into an intuitive, passionate, and highly collaborative small team-based culture, with willingness and efficiency to travel and work alone.</li><li>Demonstrated field troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to exercise appropriate judgment on when consultation and support is required.</li><li>Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills.</li><li>Proficient at interacting with a diverse customer base in a professional manner, in potentially demanding situations.</li><li>Previous experience in working within the medical or Life Sciences field.</li><li>Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li></ul>Why You Should Join Us:<ul><li>Generous Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, 10 Holidays, Floating Holiday Time)</li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision Plans</li><li>401K with Employer Match</li><li>Life/AD&amp;D and Long-Term Disability (LTD)</li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li><li>Voluntary Life/AD&amp;D Optional Plans</li><li>Parental Leave</li><li>Pet Plan</li><li>To play a part in helping hospitals and health systems continuously improve the environment of safety around every medication decision!</li></ul>Other Information:<ul><li>Up to 50% Travel including International (Valid Passport) </li><li>Hybrid role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)</li><li>The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature controlled environment.
