Job Summary: </b>Provides routine cardiography on all age groups (from neonate to geriatric, billing, scheduling of cardiology procedures, all related clerical work, prepares transcription of EKG&rsquo;s, assists physicians with treadmill procedures, performs EKG&rsquo;s, holters, ordering and inventory of supplies, and participates in Cardiopulmonary equipment cleaning, removal, and processing in down time. Responsibilities: <b>Position Summary:
</b><p>Incumbent performs electrocardiograms, Holter monitor testing / scanning, and data management.</p>
Qualifications: <b>Required Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>
Understanding of medical terminology, infectious control techniques and age related acuity levels
</li></ul><ul><li>One year of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
</li></ul><ul><li>Must have a certificate of completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia class
</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of complex cardiac arrhythmias
</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in recognition of arrhythmia
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment
</li></ul><br>
<b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>
<ul><li>
Working knowledge of Title 22 and JCAHO standards</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to instruct others in the use of equipment and performance of procedures</li></ul><br>
