<p>Viva Phonics is looking for energetic teachers to lead one-on-one online reading tutoring, Monday-Friday during the afternoons and evenings. You will have access to a structured curriculum.</p><p><b>Regular One-on-One Sessions:</b> Conduct 1:1 sessions with students, meeting at the same time on the same days 3-4 times per week.<br/><b>Communication:</b> Provide weekly updates to the student's family, keeping them informed about their child's progress, milestones achieved, and areas requiring additional focus.<br/><b>Progress Monitoring:</b> Monitor the progress of your students, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement.<br/><b>Rescheduling Requests:</b> Occasionally accommodate reschedule requests with advance notice, demonstrating flexibility and understanding of students' unique scheduling needs.<br/><b>Technical Proficiency:</b> Quickly navigate our online platform and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during sessions. Ensure a seamless online learning experience for students.</p><ul><li>Pay begins at $12 per 20 minute teaching session with a maximum of 2 sessions per hour.</li><li>We provide a comprehensive curriculum for your convenience.</li><li>This position is a contract role with part-time working hours.</li><li>In order to efficiently manage our application volume, we may request a teaching demonstration from specific candidates as part of our evaluation process before advancing to the interview stage.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements:</b><br/>1. Demonstrated experience in teaching children to read.<br/>2. Possession of a valid state teaching license.<br/>3. Available Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate rescheduling requests.<br/>4. A consistent schedule commitment of 2.5&ndash;5 hours per day, 3-4 days per week(Monday-Thursday), between 4:30 pm and 9:30 p.m. ET.<br/>5. Exhibits a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness.<br/>6.
