Assists residents to and from the dining room, and to and from activities
 
Checks on residents, ensures attendance at meals and activities
 
Checks on residents who are ill and reports status or concerns to appropriate individuals
 
Communicate verbally and in writing to report resident status, upcoming community information, resident appointments, admissions, and transfers
 
Assists new residents with move-in transition: provide emotional support
 
Attendance to all medication trainings scheduled
 
Complete medication cart audits as assigned and maintain the medication cart as directed

The Med Tech is responsible for maintaining safe and secure delivery of medications and 
health related items to the residents within the community. The Med Tech assists in 
developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on the service plan according to the

<ul><li>Responsible for answering and responding to call lights, door alarms as needed.</li><li>Knows and follows Emergency Procedures, Elopement and all other procedures.</li><li>Performs all other duties assigned by RCC or Administrator</li><li>Must attend and/or complete all assigned training to meet DSS regulations</li><li>Responsible for keeping resident information confidential; respecting resident</li></ul>

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL &amp; COGNITIVE ABILITIES:<div>

frequency for long periods of time. 
-Can tolerate bright lights, loud noises, odors, changes in temperature settings -to 
include cold or hot climates, exposure to infectious/communicable diseases, blood 
borne pathogens, and other disease related environments.

pace or priorities, on a regular basis.
