Opportunity Overview</div><div>
Embedded firmware engineering develops the embedded board support package for all Teradyne instruments and is involved in key architecture choices to select the processors, OS, tools, and network adaption.</div><div><ul><li>
Architecture, design, implementation, verification, and lab validation of Linux BSP and userspace tools for automated test equipment.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Work with Hardware, Software, and Systems engineering to provide interfaces to complex hardware systems.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Implement scalable, high-performance, high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Build, deployment, and test automation of the systems you&rsquo;ll create and improve.</li></ul></div><div>

5+ years of experience</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Software coding using C and C++ (11 or newer).</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Experience with Embedded Linux BSP development (Devicetrees, u-boot configuration, building and deploying Linux on embedded systems)</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Application development in Linux environments.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Excellent communication skills and willing to take the initiative to aggregate project needs</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Experience with CI/CD integration.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Languages: Expertise in C, C++ coding and several scripting languages (Python, , bash, &hellip;) required. Operating Systems: Linux</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Development Tools: GIT, Cmake, Yocto, Docker</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Hardware protocols: Familiarity with common hardware protocols, such as; I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, USB...</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, especially debugging remote systems with multiple devices in the loop, and problem solving skills.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>
Experience with Automated Test Equipment is a plus.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Comfortable and familiar with peer reviewed software development process.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Comfortable working with open source communities (Linux kernel, uboot, etc)</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Experience working in cross-functional teams designing complex systems</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
BS required, advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering computer science or related technical field from a top university or engineering institution</li></ul></div><div>
