We are seeking a hands-on Principal Embedded Software Engineer to join a small, multidisciplinary product team developing miniaturized sensor and processing systems for aerospace and defense applications. This role is for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of low-level embedded software, custom hardware, and real-world integration testing. You will work closely with firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineers to bring advanced sensor systems from concept through lab validation and field testing. What You Will Do<ul><li>
Develop bare-metal embedded C software for ARM-based SoC platforms.</li><li>
Design, implement, and debug low-level device drivers (MIPI, SPI, Ethernet, memory-mapped I/O).</li><li>
Initialize processors, configure registers, and control peripherals.</li><li>
Integrate and control video acquisition and sensor interfaces, including MIPI-based cameras.</li><li>
Collaborate with firmware engineers to manage acquisition, memory handling, and scheduling.</li><li>
Work hands-on with custom CCA board stacks to validate hardware/software integration.</li><li>

What You Will Do:
Within QRC environment, you will find yourself,<ul><li>
Developing software rapidly while performing job responsibilities outside of the typical software role such as requirement discovery software security, operating system configurations and product support.</li><li>
Developing software in many different languages with a focus on rapidly integrating software components into a customer deployed product while maintaining product quality, configuration management and end-user satisfaction.</li><li>

Participate in internal review of software components and systems.</li><li>

Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>
