Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Physician Assistant to provide backfill and ED overflow coverage. This high-impact locum role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to manage both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
 Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Deliver emergency care in an ED overflow environment (adults &amp; pediatrics).</li><li>
Perform patient assessments, order/interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records.</li><li>
Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and the ED team to ensure comprehensive patient care.</li><li>
Manage patient ratios of 1:6 or fewer within a 17-bed department.</li><li>

 Qualifications</h2>
Education/Training (one of the following):<ul><li>
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved postgraduate training program in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics OR</li><li>
Completion of 1 year in an approved postgraduate program in a primary care specialty (with residency director approval) OR</li><li>
One year postgraduate training plus two years of active primary care practice.</li></ul>

Complete required medical records, participate in staff training, and attend meetings as needed.</li><li>
Utilize EMR systems (Cerner experience preferred, but not required).</li><li>
Maintain compliance with facility protocols, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Must hold an active Oklahoma medical license.</li><li>
Must obtain OBNDD and Oklahoma DEA with CNHS address.</li><li>
Completion of one of the following pathways:<ul><li>
ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics, with active practice in the last 2 years.</li><li>
Current enrollment in and successful completion of at least one year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty (with Residency Director approval).</li><li>
