Position Overview</b></h4><p>
As a Lead Emergency Services Technician &ndash; Water Mitigation, you are a front-line responder and team leader in water-related emergencies. Reporting directly to the Emergency Services Manager, you&rsquo;ll guide and support technicians in executing restoration tasks with precision, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires both hands-on expertise and leadership skills, as you will model best practices, mentor junior team members, and help coordinate on-site response efforts with professionalism and composure.</p>

Key Responsibilities</b></h4><ul><li>
Lead water mitigation projects from initial response to full completion.</li><li>
Manage emergency services with professionalism and urgency.</li><li>
Work directly with insurers, adjusters, and commercial property managers to clearly explain mitigation processes and project scope.</li><li>
Utilize project management software DASH (Mica), including documentation, notes, and billing workflows.</li><li>
Perform thorough site photography, scoping, and documentation.</li><li>
Apply technical tools such as DocuSketch and MATTERPORT Full View Photos for accurate project records.</li><li>
Follow industry best practices and IICRC standards for drying and restoration.</li><li>
Maintain detailed project notes in company systems to support estimating and billing.</li><li>
Mentor and guide team members in proper mitigation methodology and communication practices.</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of handson experience in water mitigation (residential &amp; commercial).</li><li>
Full IICRC Certification in water damage restoration.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of insurance restoration losses process and documentation for claims.</li><li>
Proficiency in project management software (Micah or similar).</li><li>
Skilled in photography, project scoping, DocuSketch, and Matterport reporting.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain mitigation methodologies to clients and stakeholders.</li><li>
Strong organizational and notetaking abilities for accurate records.</li><li>
Leadership qualities with ability to manage crews and projects effectively.</li><li>
Full preparation of pre loss information of the loss to prepare handoff to estimating teams</li><li>

Physical Requirements</b></h4><p>
The Lead Emergency Services Technician must be in good physical health, capable of meeting medical and physical examination standards (including drug screening) and respirator clearance.</p>

The Emergency Department (ED) Technician provides patient care and operational support for patients in the ED during varying states of health and illness.
