Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><p><br>
Benefits Management</p><ul><li>
Maintains employee benefits programs by working with CEO, CFO, CHRO, and external brokers on the design and implementation of benefit plans. Acts as primary benefits liaison between Leadership, HR and all employees.</li><li>
Manages Open Enrollment process to include benefit rollover process in Paycom, planning and scheduling of benefit briefings state-wide, development &amp; implementation of employee communication plan. Processes benefit enrollments, terminations, and ensures employee changes are completed in a timely and compliant manner, adhering to all plan details and external regulations. Assists Accounting/Finance team with benefit claims and billing administration. Ensures COBRA administration is processed in compliance with all applicable regulations.</li><li>
Works directly with the CFO and Payroll to administer the company's 401k plan. Ensures adequate employee education outreach.</li><li>
Provide guidance and oversight to Wellness Program and serves on Wellness Committee. Serves as main contact for applicable vendors.</li><li>
Compliance/Record Keeping</li><li>
Manages state-wide workers compensation program to include employee/supervisor education, document and billing management, carrier reporting and documentation preparation.</li><li>
Works to ensure ACA compliance and manages trend reports to accurately classify employees according to ACA regulations. Develop all ACA policies as needed and communications materials for leadership and staff.</li><li>
Acts as main point of contact for employee questions regarding the federal benefits marketplace, and manages all related eligibility issues and notifications.</li><li>
Gather, complete and submit all state or federally mandated OSHA requirements and reporting. Ensures all state and federal regulatory posters are current for all ASNC locations.</li><li>
Manages Unemployment process for organization, to include claims management, responses, attendance at hearings, etc.</li><li>
Backs up other HR duties for hiring, leave, compliance and training where necessary.</li><li>
May serve on Safety and Wellness Committees.</li></ul><p>

At TSMC Washington a Sr. Benefits Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our employee benefits programs. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for providing exceptional support to our employees. The Sr. Benefits Analyst will work closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our company values and objectives.</p>

Responsibilities included but not limited to:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Analyze and evaluate existing benefit &amp; compensation programs to ensure they are competitive and cost-effective.</li>
<li>Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for plan design improvements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage benefit &amp; compensation budgets and forecast future costs.</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit &amp; compensation inquiries and issues, providing clear and informative responses.</li>
<li>Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communications, presentations, and enrollment system updates.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefit &amp; compensation data in HRIS and other relevant systems.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefit &amp; compensation.</li>
<li>Assist in the development and implementation of new benefit &amp; compensation programs and initiatives.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to support decision-making processes.</li>
<li>Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in benefit &amp; compensation management.</li>
<li>Collaboration &amp; cross-training protocols within HR, specifically encompassing areas like Compensation and HRIS systems. Extend these collaborative efforts to engage cross-functional departments and various organizational locations.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Requirements:</b></h2>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</li>
<li><b>Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration required.</b></li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li>
<li>Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms.</li>

<li>Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation is a plus.

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between <b>$82,970 and $112,169 per yea</b>r. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from <b>$82,970 and $121,900</b>, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC&rsquo;s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.</p><br>

<ul><li>This position is also eligible for a <b>Sign-On Bonus</b> depending on various factors.</li></ul>

Coordinate communication with employee and insurance company for disability, accident and death claims.</li><li>
Assist employees with work related injuries. Coordinate communication between employee and WC Trust. Complete the OSHA report.</li><li>
Assist employee with Connecticut Paid Leave and FMLA.</li><li>
Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.</li><li>
Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.</li></ul><p>
General Duties.</p><ul><li>
Monitor administrative costs of benefits programs and recommend cost containment strategies, including alternative methods for administration and funding.</li><li>
Prepare budgetary recommendations and assist in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds.</li><li>
Review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation. Review monthly unemployment statements.</li><li>
Maintain employee medical files securely and confidentially to comply with laws.</li><li>
Assist Director of HR with managing interactive process for employees requesting ADA accommodations by conducting assessments and identifying reasonable accommodations to assist with job performance.</li><li>
Provides assistance to other HR staff as needed.</li><li>
Assists in additional projects as assigned by the Director of HR or VP of Finance and Administration.</li></ul><p>
