</div>Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Craft and lead the employee relations strategy for Texas Oncology, managing consistent application of philosophy, practice, tools, and templates; Offer ongoing recommendations to reduce risk to the Practice.
</li><li>Serve as an Employee Relations expert, providing guidance and conducting comprehensive investigations for ER issues. Leads the Texas Oncology ER Team, Partners with various leaders to provide resolutions for issues and concerns with a focus on risk mitigation. Ensure ER actions are appropriate, fair and consistent based on corporate policy, ER quality standards, and established regulations.
</li><li>Manages the execution of ER issues reported through the employee hotline. Conduct investigations as needed and ensure all appropriate documentation including investigation findings and closure of cases. Partner with legal counsel, as needed.
</li><li>Serve as expert on ADA/ADAAA accommodation/interactive process and partner with local HR representatives to manage those matters. Partner with the Leave Management Supervisor on ensuring leave policies and practices are implemented consistently and managed appropriately.</li><li>
Lead the Termination Review process for involuntary terminations, including review of documentation, consultation with HR Partners and escalation to legal counsel as indicated by protocol.
</li><li>Partner on various projects with Compliance, Learning and Development, Shared Services and other functional areas as needed. Conduct trainings across HR and leaders on best practices for investigations, progressive discipline, employee relations and leader coaching.
</li><li>Pro-actively work with HR Business Partners, and Practice leadership to identify long-term /on-going performance issues that have not been addressed or performance that has not improved. Help identify the issues and partner to put a plan of action in place to address. Consult on Performance Improvement Plans and outcomes.</li><li>
Stay current on ER legal matters and legislation. Maintain ER metrics and analysis as directed by Manager, Employee Relations. Serve as an ER subject matter expert to the HR Partners and Practice Leaders.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Minimum Job Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree required, Human Resources, business or related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred
</li><li>10+ years in Human Resources
</li><li>5 - 8 years in Employee Relations
</li><li>Healthcare Industry experience preferred

As the Employee Relations Manager (ERM), you&rsquo;ll lead a team of Employee Relations Partners and oversee daily operations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. You&rsquo;ll be a hands-on expert, guiding leaders and associates through complex workplace matters while shaping policies that reflect our values and culture.</div><div></div><div><br>
You&rsquo;ll manage sensitive investigations, drive continuous improvement, and provide strategic insights through data and collaboration. Your deep knowledge of employment law and ability to influence across all levels will help foster a respectful, compliant, and high-performing workplace.</div><br>

Leads and develops a team of high-performing Employee Relations Partners; drives continuous improvement through best practices, coaching and training.</li><li>
Independently conducts and oversees complex and sensitive workplace investigations with little to no supervision, including determining appropriate investigation strategies, leads witness interviews and conducts credibility analyses, reviews documents, determines findings and makes recommendations for appropriate resolution, and works across the organization as needed. Investigation topics include, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, theft, conflicts of interest, ethics, and other policy violations. Trains the team of the same.</li><li>
Engages external legal resources for high complexity, high risk and/or highly sensitive matters as appropriate. Applies judgement and discretion to keep HRBP Director and/or CHRO informed of sensitive matters and seeks guidance as needed.</li><li>
Develops, maintains and recommends workplace policies and practices in close partnership with the company&rsquo;s stakeholders. Interprets policies and procedures, incorporating knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, and Title VII and equivalent state laws).</li><li>
Demonstrates excellent communication skills by drafting well-written investigation reports, speaking points, corrective actions, presentations, etc.</li><li>
Creates data reports and analysis to identify themes, trends, and root causes to provide insights and recommendations for decision making and Employee Relations risk prevention.</li><li>
Manages the company&rsquo;s case management system, meets established service level agreements for responsiveness and resolution. Manages the exit interview survey and reporting.</li><li>
Consults and collaborates with internal partners to establish and maintain a positive work environment; demonstrates managerial courage as needed and helps drive results.</li><li>
Leads or assists with project management including M&amp;A activity or reorganization as required, including any related redundancy exercises.</li><li>

Masters in HR or Paralegal experience, preferred.</li><li>
6-8 years of related experience or Line HR manager experience with demonstrated employee relations experience, required.</li><li>
6-8 years of related experience within a large financial services organization, preferably within a matrixed environment, preferred.</li><li>

The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
