Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned projects. Ensure technical quality in line with QatarEnergy procedures, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, schedule, cost, and HSE compliance.
Required Experience and Skills:
<ul><li>Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys from concept through FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy&rsquo;s technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and HSE policies.</li><li>
Review and assess technical deviations and variations from approved codes and standards.</li><li>
Support the Engineering Department in reviewing and updating QatarEnergy standards and amendments to external standards.</li><li>
Plan and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure timely and quality technical service delivery.</li><li>
Develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.</li><li>
Review and approve method statements from contractors for scope compliance; resolve technical issues collaboratively.</li><li>
Monitor and update schedules for in-house engineering activities and contribute to external FEED/EPIC schedules.</li><li>
Evaluate technical bid packages and contract changes for compliance with approved guidelines and practices.</li></ul>
Educational Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory).</li><li>
Chartered/Professional Engineer status is preferred.</li><li>
Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 6 years in the Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of engineering standards and codes relevant to Technical HSE.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality across multiple projects.</li><li>
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.</li></ul></div>
