Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <b>BIM/CAD Specialist-Highway</b> to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will get to <b>perform various drafting assignments for Highway design packages and support with Highway design-related activities.</b></p><p><b><br>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Regular interface with other departments and provide technical guidance to junior staff.</p></li><li><p>
Communicate effectively with management, engineering, and production staff on modeling technical and non-technical subjects.</p></li><li><p>

Provide technical guidance and supervise junior modeling staff.</p></li><li><p>

Demonstrate a strong understanding of Common Data Environment usage and management for model production.</p></li><li><p>
Work closely with Roads Digital Design &amp; Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to ensure the project&rsquo;s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion.</p></li><li><p>
Work closely with Roads Digital Design &amp; Delivery Lead, Engineering Leads and Senior Drafter to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion.</p></li><li><p>
Understand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion.</p></li><li><p>
Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks.</p></li><li><p>
Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report.</p></li><li><p>
Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.</p></li><li><p>

What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Diploma in a Civil Engineering discipline, Bachelor&rsquo;s degree will be an addition.</p></li><li><p>
Minimum 10 years related work experience for Diploma in Civil Engineering, Or Minimum 8 years related work experience for Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.</p></li><li><p>
Very good Knowledge and practice of Civil 3D and Dynamo tool.</p></li><li><p>
Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.</p></li><li><p>
