   To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

   University Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

   Strong experience in a technical leadership role within platform engineering, site reliability engineering, cloud engineering, resilience engineering, or related discipline.

Als Data Engineering Lead geef je richting aan het data landschap en zorg je dat het dataplatform betrouwbaar, schaalbaar en toekomstbestendig is. Je stelt kaders en standaarden op voor data-architectuur, integraties en datakwaliteit, en werkt zelf actief mee aan het realiseren en verbeteren van data-oplossingen.</p><p>
Je combineert overzicht met inhoud: van data modellering en pipelines tot governance en performance. Daarbij stem je continu af met business en IT om datavraagstukken te vertalen naar concrete, werkende oplossingen.</p><p>

Je brengt structuur en richting in het data landschap en zorgt dat data betrouwbaar, beschikbaar en direct bruikbaar is om inzicht te krijgen en gebruikt kan worden voor besluitvorming. Je vertaalt strategische datavraagstukken naar concrete oplossingen en realiseert deze samen met het team, waarbij je zelf actief meewerkt aan architectuur, pipelines en integraties. Daarbij bewaak je de samenhang tussen systemen, data en processen en zorg je dat standaarden en governance goed zijn ingericht.</p><p>
Je werkt op het snijvlak van business en IT en zorgt dat databehoeften helder worden vertaald naar schaalbare oplossingen. Door jouw bijdrage wordt data een stevig fundament onder procesoptimalisatie en verdere digitalisering van de organisatie.</p><p>
Je rapporteert aan de Head of IT en werkt binnen de divisie Data Engineering, waar je een centrale rol vervult in de doorontwikkeling van het datadomein. Je werkt nauw samen met collega&rsquo;s uit IT en de business en stuurt een (klein) team van data engineers aan, waarbij je inhoudelijk het verschil maakt.</p><p><b>

Als Data Engineering Lead maak je deel uit van de dynamische IT-afdeling (~15 personen) welke bestaat uit verschillende divisies, waaronder IT Operations, Application Management, Digital Integration (IT-OT) en Data Engineering.</p><p>
