Position: CAD OperatorJob Location: Site BaseJob description:A CAD Operator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings and digital models based on engineering designs and project requirements. The role supports engineering and project teams by converting concepts, sketches, and technical data into precise 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Create Technical Drawings</li></ul>Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models from sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions provided by engineers or architects.<ul><li>Maintain Accuracy and Compliance</li></ul>Ensure all drawings meet applicable industry standards, local regulations, building codes, and company drafting procedures.<ul><li>Revise and Update Designs</li></ul>Modify and update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, client comments, or engineering feedback.<ul><li>Data and File Management</li></ul>Organize, maintain, and update drawing registers, project files, and digital libraries for easy access and document control.<ul><li>Coordination and Collaboration</li></ul>Work closely with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and construction teams to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and buildable within budget constraints.<ul><li>Quality Control</li></ul>Review drawings before submission to ensure clarity, completeness, and consistency.Education and Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience as a CAD Operator or Draftsman, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software; knowledge of 3D modeling tools (such as Revit, Civil 3D, or similar) will be an advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards.</li><li>Good attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
