Responsibilities &amp; Qualifications</h1>
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Lead an engineering team for delivery of buildings (structural) projects, through all design phases, from conceptual to detailed design.</li><li>
Perform design and analysis of complex building structures, prepare plans, specifications in accordance with applicable standards.</li><li>
Conduct quality control activities for independent review and checking of structural designs.</li><li>
Manage and mentor junior, intermediate and senior engineers, overseeing staff utilization and provide for timekeeping approval.</li><li>
Interface with clients for project delivery.</li><li>
Assist with business development and pursuits of projects.</li><li>
Lead the proposal preparation effort for design projects and attend interviews.</li><li>

QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.</li><li>
Licensed Professional Engineering License (P.E. or S.E.)</li><li>
10-15+ years of experience in the execution of buildings structural engineering projects, with exposure to both new construction and existing buildings (renovations/additions)</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of US building codes and referenced standards as ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, etc. and other applicable regulations.</li><li>

<ul><li>Provide technical expertise in all mechanical static equipment design
</li><li>Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
</li><li>Coordinate, Monitor and handle static equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
</li><li>Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
</li><li>Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Static Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices</li></ul></div>
 <div><ul><li>Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Static Engineering. Overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Static Engineering Team
</li><li>Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant&rsquo;s &amp; EPC Contractor&rsquo;s Mechanical Static Engineering design activities
</li><li>Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor&rsquo;s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices
</li><li>Coordinate the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation.
</li><li>Participate in teams for equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization.
</li><li>Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects.
</li><li>Ensure full utilization of the existing facilities while optimizing the facilities required for the new projects.
</li><li>Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
</li><li>Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
</li><li>Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning &amp; commissioning
</li><li>Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and provide support to Project Managers and Engineers within the Project Management Team organization
</li><li>Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in Company's Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations Units, and Logistics Department
</li><li>Interface regularly with Contractor&rsquo;s Engineering and Project Management team and discipline engineers as and when required</li></ul></div>

</li><li>Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry

</li><li>Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
</li><li>Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
</li><li>Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems</li></ul></div>
