Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Supervisor to support daily maintenance operations across a multi-building luxury resort property. This role provides field leadership to the maintenance team while ensuring work orders, vendor activity, preventive maintenance, and compliance documentation are executed efficiently and professionally. The Engineering Supervisor serves as the operational lead on the floor, supporting the Director and Assistant Director while maintaining active involvement in technical work. 
Essential Functions:
1. Supervise and support daily activities of Maintenance Technicians
2. Assign, monitor, and close work orders through CMMS (HotSOS preferred)
3. Ensure timely response to guest and internal service requests
4. Perform advanced repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and general building systems
5. Support parts ordering, inventory control, and supply management
6. Assist with invoice processing and budget tracking
7. Maintain life safety logs, inspection records, and compliance documentation
8. Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response procedures 
Qualifications
Required
1. 3&ndash;7 years of hotel or commercial building maintenance experience

What We Expect from You

The Team Leader &ndash; Electronics Engineering &amp; Automation is responsible for managing and supporting all electronic systems, automation equipment, and control systems within the solid dosage manufacturing and packaging lines. The role ensures reliable operation, regulatory compliance (GMP), minimal downtime, and continuous improvement of automated systems used in production and packaging processes.

The position leads a team of technicians and engineers to maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation systems supporting pharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation &amp; Control Systems
<ul>
<li>Supervise and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems used in solid dosage manufacturing and packaging equipment.</li>
<li>Manage automation systems for equipment such as:</li>
<li><ul><li>Tablet compression machines</li>
<li>Capsule filling machines</li>
<li>Blister packaging lines</li>
<li>Bottle filling and labeling lines</li>
<li>Checkweighers and serialization systems</li>
</ul></li><li>Support troubleshooting and programming of PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).</li>
<li>Maintain and optimize SCADA and data acquisition systems.</li>
</ul>
2. Maintenance &amp; Troubleshooting
<ul>
<li>Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of automation, sensors, drives, and electronic systems.</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve automation failures, control loop issues, and communication faults.</li>
<li>Ensure minimal production downtime through rapid technical support.</li>
</ul>
3. Team Leadership
<ul>
<li>Supervise and guide automation technicians and electronics engineers.</li>
<li>Plan daily maintenance activities and allocate resources.</li>
<li>Provide technical training and mentoring to team members.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to safety procedures and GMP requirements.</li>
</ul>
4. Equipment Qualification &amp; Validation
<ul>
<li>Support FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for new equipment.</li>
<li>Collaborate with QA, validation, and production teams during commissioning.</li>
<li>Ensure automation systems comply with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements where applicable.</li>
</ul>
5. Continuous Improvement
<ul>
<li>Identify opportunities for automation upgrades and process optimization.</li>
<li>Implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for recurring issues.</li>
<li>Support digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives within manufacturing.</li>
</ul>
6. Documentation &amp; Compliance

<li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, SOPs, and change control documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and company standards.</li>

Education

<li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years in a supervisory or team leader role.</li>
