Primary ObjectiveWe are seeking a detail-oriented Waste Management &amp; Compliance Specialist who will be responsible for all regulatory, environmental, and health &amp; safety compliance requirements of Mint Rewards' waste operations. What you'll do on a typical day: <ul> <li>Plan and implement GXO and OSHA policies and programs</li> <li>Advise and lead associates on various safety related topics</li> <li>Update and maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders and databases</li> <li>Conduct and/or coordinate inspections, safety audits, and environmental audits for campus locations</li> <li>Ensure proper training of associates on safety and health requirements and policies to ensure compliance</li> <li>Conduct safety audits of health and safety programs, procedures and processes, including but not limited to the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP) and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) process</li> <li>Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes and recommend solutions, improvement opportunities or preventive measures</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience</li> <li>1 year of EHS experience</li> </ul> It'd be great if you also have: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in safety related field</li> <li>CPR, AED, and First Aid certificates</li> <li>The self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment</li> <li>Solid research skills</li> </ul> We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
