The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, standards, and best practices throughout construction and healthcare projects in Qatar. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on experience in environmental inspection and advisory services.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive site inspections to assess compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, air quality, water conservation, and hazardous material handling.</li><li>Review project documentation, designs, and permits to identify potential environmental risks and ensure alignment with Qatari and international standards.</li><li>Monitor and audit construction and healthcare facilities to evaluate adherence to environmental policies, health and safety protocols, and sustainability guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Prepare detailed inspection reports, findings, and recommendations for project teams and regulatory authorities.</li><li>Advise on environmental best practices, including pollution prevention, resource efficiency, and waste reduction strategies.</li><li>Participate in environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and sustainability planning for new projects.</li><li>Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide training or guidance to project teams as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>Education:</b> Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering or a related field.</li><li><b>Certification:</b> Grad B certification under the <b>UPDA (Qatar Civil Defence) Personnel Development Program</b>.</li><li><b>Experience:</b></li><li>Minimum <b>10 years of professional experience</b>, with <b>at least 5 years in a similar environmental inspection or consultancy role</b>.</li><li><b>Experience in the construction industry</b>, preferably in consultancy or project management roles.</li><li><b>Prior experience in hospital projects in Qatar</b> is strongly preferred.</li><li><b>Technical Skills:</b></li><li>In-depth knowledge of Qatari environmental regulations, ISO 14001 standards, and health/safety compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in using environmental monitoring tools, data collection software, and reporting systems.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and propose solutions.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Attributes</b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with the Qatari healthcare sector and its specific environmental compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience working with international construction consultancy firms or on large-scale infrastructure projects.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and adapt to dynamic project timelines.</li></ul><p><b>Additional Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting technical findings.</li><li>Flexibility to travel to project sites within Qatar and work under tight deadlines.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and resolving compliance issues.</li></ul><p><b>Note:</b> This position is for a <b>36-month project</b> based in <b>Qatar</b>. Job Purpose</b></div>
<div>
To support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements on site, ensuring full compliance with Bilfinger HSE policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.</div>

Key Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Conduct daily site HSE inspections and report findings in Active / Bilfinger reporting systems.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Bilfinger HSE Plan, Risk Assessments (MSRA/TBRA), PTW, and LOTO procedures.</li>
<li>Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, lifting operations, working at height, confined spaces, and hot works.</li>
<li>Identify unsafe acts/conditions and initiate Stop Work Authority (SWA) when required.</li>
<li>Support incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.</li>
<li>Verify availability and correct use of PPE and safety equipment.</li>
<li>Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions.</li>
<li>Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and subcontractors on HSE matters.</li>
<li>Ensure site compliance with client HSE requirements and UAE legal regulations (OSH / ADOSH where applicable).</li>
<li>Maintain proper HSE records, inspection checklists, and reports.</li>

<div><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Diploma or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, Safety, or related field.</li>
<li>NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory); NEBOSH Diploma is an advantage.</li>
<li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, ADOSH-SF, and international HSE standards.</li>
